"I'll just simply put it this way if I could take a trip to Grand Lake every year, I would come back to this cabin year after year. This place is simply amazing. The view is beautiful. The town of Grand lake is minutes down the road. The entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park is 7 minutes away. And you have all the amenities you would ever need on site. All you need to bring is your gear, food and beverages. Don't second guess just click the book button and get ready for an amazing vacation. The host Steve is very easy to work with and he will answer any questions you may have."

"This property is as advertised. However the description does not call out the size of the beds. Based on the picture, the main bedroom looked to have a king bed but it was a queen. We would have preferred a king. That’s my fault for not verifying. Was surprised there wasn’t any cooking oil and the owner said it’s because it gets taken. Otherwise it was clean and the owners were very communicative."

"Absolutely incredible location. This place is such a gem, getting both beautiful indoor and outdoor living areas. The double decks give plenty of space to spread out, the amenities like the water crafts are great, and everyone talked about coming back again. This is a repeat rental once you've been here, I have no doubt. It was so serene and quiet, perfect for a girls weekend."

"We had a fantastic time! There was plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 young children with plenty of activities for all of us without even leaving the house! A fun secret play room for the kids to games in the closets to the game room downstairs! The playset outside was perfect as well as the hottub and covered gazebo with the firepit! The house was so beautiful and well stocked! We were lucky enough to see deer, moose and plenty of cute, playful chipmunks. Even though the house is secluded, the drive to Grand Lake with its restaurants and shops was only 10 minutes away, nice to have that option. We took a day trip to Estes Park, a bit of a drive but well worth it. You do need to pay to drive through the national park though, so plan accordingly. Maureen was very responsive to all questions and concerns before and during the trip, we will definitely be back!!"

"Absolutely a five star cabin built to a very high standard. The view from the balcony is just incredible and worth tolerating the traffic noise on a very busy highway. If it was possible to improve this wonderful property some comfortable outdoor furniture on the balcony would help."

"This place made for a very enjoyable stay on Shadow Lake! It is a quintessential lakeside cabin! We had a boat and used the dock- it was wonderful. We liked that there was plenty of outdoor lakeside seating and comfortable chairs. There was also ample parking for our three cars plus a boat trailer. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. We had a couple requests and they accommodated without question. We would definitely stay again!"
