"Elevator and pool broken not informed about the pool. Compensation was 10 dollars for candy. The whole time I was communicating with the hotel they made me feel like it was my mistake for booking with them. No offer of anything else. I dont think it should be my job to negotiate.with them over this it should have just been taken care of.. well I won't be making this mistake again "

"Great place to stay between Turkey Run and Shades State Parks. Plenty of room for our group of four. It was fun to have access to the games in the common area. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable."

"The entire motel was under renovations and construction. The staff had failed to mention that and told me that there wasn’t going to be a room available for another half an hour when I asked if there was a room that was available they said yes however I should be prepared for the carpenters to install a table in my room. I asked how much longer this would take because I had just finished hiking and wanted to get some sleep. They said the until the end of the day. At which point I had given up for there was no other room available for me at all. The lady apologized and said that I would be refunded however when we spoke to Expedia, she denied all claims and held me accountable. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs."

"We had a wonderful little getaway at the cabin! Turkey Run State Park is conveniently located just down the road with several restaurant options in nearby Rockville. My kids loved the little zip-line in the backyard, and we all enjoyed exploring the trails behind the cabin. The bedrooms are spacious and mattresses were comfortable. We loved the open, inviting kitchen/living area and the decor! We would definitely stay here again."
