The property was very close to Seward. It made for a convenient trip to go on a halibut fishing charter. We also discovered a great beautiful hike up to exit glacier.
The cabin was well stocked and had everything we needed. The location is unmatched and had gorgeous views. Despite being near town you feel like you are deep in the woods surrounded by nature.
This cabin had everything you could want and is VERY well stocked! We cooked our freshly caught salmon on the grill, enjoyed coffee by the creek, and truly felt comfortable and cozy relaxing in this gorgeous cabin. Look no further and reserve it!
Nice stay at the cabin. The shower/tub arrangement was not very good for senior citizens like us---no grab bars and risky to shower.
Good private location and near but not too near to Seward.

Beautiful spacious cabin in the woods close to Seward. Property owner was friendly and responsive. We had a bull moose feeding around the cabin one evening during our stay. Bedroom in the loft has a great view of woods and mountains.
Very clean, well equipped, charming log cabin in a great location! We stayed over there for 4 days - 5 guests including two kids. It was the perfect place for us to stay while exploring Seward. Bruce was very helpful and responsive. Yes. only one bathroom, but it wasn't a problem for us at all. Would love to come back!
Very clean, new-feeling log cabin. Very much open concept so don't expect any private bedrooms (two beds in the main floor, two upstairs), but worked well for our family of 4, could have slept many more. Great kitchen and great views of Mt Alice which was the highlight. So much to offer in this area near Seward - check out the beaches near this VRBO, the kids have a wonderful time finding and skipping rocks and seeing the ships go by. Would stay again.
We enjoyed our stay in the woods outside of Seward. The cabin was stocked well with amenities and had good TV and internet service. Communication with property manager was prompt. Outdoor areas weren’t exactly what we had expected so we didn’t utilize it. It was a great base for our fishing day trips.
Enjoyed the property and amenities. Would recommend larger hot water heater as we had to stagger our showers. Also as commented from others, suggest the shower set up be changed.
My wife, daughter and her boyfriend really enjoyed the beautiful cabin in Bear Creek. It's rustic nature and quiet location with amazing views was what we needed for Seward. Great kitchen and living area. The shower was the only thing we had trouble with as it's in a tub with hanging curtains we couldn't figure out. Tough for tall folks. Overall - great place
Four adult lady friends enjoyed the cabin for two nights. Two beds up and two beds down were comfortable. A ladder, rather than staircase led to the two upstairs beds. Everything was tidy and clean. The stove on the lower level was easy to operate when we needed a little bit of extra heat. The provided wood also allowed us to also enjoy the warm, cozy atmosphere of a wood stove fire. Thanks for a great stay!
My wife and I spent two days in Seward and used the Cabin as our base of operations. Lovely, open space with a loft style upstairs as a second sleeping space. Nice views from the upstairs windows.
Well appointed property with excellent kitchen (which we used) and all the cookware plates, glasses, bowls, mugs... that you could ever want. Comfortable living room.
About 7 minutes to Seward downtown, and 5 minute drive to grocery store. We received an unexpected communication from the host with directions to the Bear Creek Weir were we were able to watch silver salmon attempting the leap the 2' waterfall towards their spawning grounds. Fun to watch, and one of the trip's many highlights for a couple of midwesterners.
Overall a great property, and accommodating host. A bit off the beaten path, but not too far, which is what we were looking for.
We had a great time at the cabin. It is super close to the grocery store in Seward as well as very close to the Seward boat launch for Glacier cruise and just a few minutes drive to Exit glacier hike! I will definitely be staying here again the next time I’m in Seward.
Fantastic location—just minutes from great restaurants and activities. Bruce was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I’d highly recommend staying here, and be sure to make time to enjoy the fire pit!
Family of four all enjoyed our 3-night stay in the cabin. Cabin had everything we needed and Bruce was a great host. Would stay here again on next trip!
