These train cabins are fully furnished with all the amenities you need to make you feel like home. No pets allowed in the train or on the property.

What a great experience to stay in a newly renovated real Alaska train car! It was exceptionally clean, nicely decorated and the foyer was so cute with a digital photo frame showing how they converted the train car into a Wonderful experience to stay while visiting Alaska! We would definitely stay at Cherrywood Lane Train #2 or #1 again!

This place was stunning! 100/10 recommend. The experience in itself was wonderful but the added bonus is how clean and new it is! We felt like we were the first to stay there! The bed was comfortable, the space amazing, and the blackout blinds were a thoughtful touch.

Beautiful train!!

We really enjoyed this unique stay! The train car felt very cozy and up-to-date. The inside was practically all new! It was comfortable and clean. Rodney was great to communicate with and extremely responsive. We’ll be back next year!

A Real Alaskan Rail Car Experience

This brand new, remodeled once Alaska Rail Car is PERFECT for a getaway weekend or extended stay. It has all the amenities and it's BEAUTIFUL inside! Rodney, the awesome & gracious host, did all the work too! It's impressive to see up close. And if you know the history of the rail car, than you'll really appreciate Rodney and his team's hardwork for keeping its spirit alive and allowing folks to experience it. If you're ever in Seward and want a more authentic, Alaskan stay, this historic rail car will do the trick.
