Slice of heaven

Everything at Angels Rest was wonderful top to bottom. Beautifully kept property with lots of personal touches. Soft beds and a serene atmosphere made for a great night‘a sleep.

Loved this place!

Loved this clean, view friendly cabin. We stayed there when the road was closed and they kept us updated from the time it happened until we stayed there. The hosts were amazing in their communication. We hope to be back again some day.

Do not book here. We were to stay the day of the landslide. This lady will not refund under any conditions. She did not even refund during covid. She watches people and if they have the courtesy to smoke outside her cabin, she charges them the "fine" for being on her property and smoking.People of Seward call her the B of Sewaard. Do not get involved with this grabby greedy inhuman lady. She actually expected us to leave our car, take a water taxi, which stopped running due to the landslide and stay there. We would have to walk from the taxi to her place. There is no food there on that side. Nothing available nor open. How we got back was our problem.Buyer beware.Also, after you book her nonrefundable, she informs you the day after that you must have a 4x4 vehicle or plan to tote your luggage down the hilly cliff. No.

A beautiful cottage on the beach with amazing views of the mountains and bay, and only five minutes from downtown Seward. The property onwers are attentive and accommodating. We'd definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay

Amazing amazing amazing. You can't beat the view inside and out. The flowers were beautiful. The fire pit was awesome! Everything was very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay there again and again and again.

Perfect room! It had everything we needed. A small sink and refrigerator and microwave. Two comfy rockers by big windows with a view of flowers and hummingbirds. The only drawback was it’s not walking distance to restaurants or shops. My husband liked that because it was secluded feeling. Also, they had bear spray, hiking poles and lots of other things available to borrow. Very kind and helpful hosts.

Good and could be great

Angel's Rest is located in a beautiful area in Resurrection Bay 10 minutes drive from Seward. The owners clearly take pride in their property and provide everything from coffee to fishing poles! I was disappointed with some of the communication- I got a very lengthy text half way through my stay that the pet fee would not be waived despite having documentation that the dog is an emotional support animal.

The perfect little cabin on the shore of Resurrection Bay has a view across the water to stunning mountains. Am sure it would be wonderful in the summer, and our winter visit was perfect: cozy, warm, and spectacular all at the same time!

Resurrection bay hideaway

I’ve always wanted to visit Resurrection bay, and this was the perfect place to do it. Very comfortable bed, special communication with the property owners, charming accommodations, plenty of helpful amenities.... and right on the bay!

The place had a good view of the bay and it was a short walk to the beach. The only downside was that it was a little small. I would stay again for short visit we had for a couple of nights.

We loved our time at Angel’s Rest. I only wish we could have stayed longer than 2 days. The rooms were clean and bright with an ocean view. The beach and location are positively stunning. We can’t wait to come back!

The remote location of this place was awesome, the views were fantastic. The room is very small, and having 4 large suitcases was tough in that tiny room. Could benefit from even some storage bins outside the room or even another 4 hooks near the others would be helpful. The Satellite TV never worked once, but we did not report to the owner, as it was not a big deal to us.
