Boat drop off is a little hairy - if waves are high the water taxi will drop you very quickly (grab your stuff and run off the boat!) or may even decline to drop you on the little beach. Gorgeous retreat just minutes from town
"Stayed in the gorgeous, brand new Fireweed Chalet that truly did not skip on the finer features of living while set in beautiful rustic Seward. This is under 10min from downtown Seward but still far enough away to feel like a sweet woodsy retreat. The chalet is two stories and features a beautifully appointed full kitchen and fridge with everything you need to cook meals, minus the food. The living area features a large and comfy sectional couch, downstairs bedroom and full bath with jetted tub. Upstairs is the master retreat which has a giant walk in closet and a bathroom for the gods including full laundry machines. The walk in shower is giant and can be turned into a steam/sauna which is life changing after a long day on a boat or plane. Would definitely stay here again! "
