I had a great stay at Uncle Sid’s. When an issue came up, Mia was quick to respond and helped resolve it right away. The place has two bedrooms and a comfortable couch. There was definitely enough room for six people, and it could fit more comfortably. We had a lot of fun during our stay!
We had a wonderful time staying at Couzin Sid’s. The home was nice and cozy and had everything we needed for our weekend trip. Very close to all the places we wanted to visit while in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinberg. Will definitely stay again.
We had a great time! The place was perfect and clean. We felt very comfortable. It was close to all the places we wanted to visit. The host was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
We absolutely LOVED this little hidden gem. The house was well stocked, comfy beds, adorable decorations, super clean and owner was very responsive. We will definitely be back.
Cousin Sid's was exceptional! We absolutely loved our stay there. Great location! Easy to locate and out of the hustle and bustle, but close and easy access to all the great attractions and the Great Smoky Mountains. House was perfect. Decorated very nice, well stocked, clean and beds were very comfortable. Host was very quick and responsive to all of our questions. We will definitely recommend this place to others and we will definitely want to stay here again.
Easy to find, convenient/spacious parking, nice yard for the kids to run off some energy, well-stocked, great communication, very comfortable all-around! This was the perfect place for our family getaway! (…and the kids are still talking about Sid!)
Wonderful property and house. View and privacy of property is amazing. Furniture and decor are really really nice. Very roomy and open. Loved the labels on kitchen cabinets and drawers telling you exactly where to find everything. Highly recommend this property.
Perfect location, close to all the attractions and the National Park. The home was nice and cozy and had pretty much everything we needed, for laundry, bath, and dishes. ( bring own spices) . At night the kids were able to chase firefly and we had several rabbits and squirrels visit us. Quite family friendly homes.
We enjoyed our stay at Cousin Sid’s. The house was easy to find. The house is centrally located between Pigeon Forge and Townsend. We especially liked that because we spend a lot of time in Cade’s Cove when we’re in Tennessee. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with some local restaurants, gas stations, and a Dollar General close by for whatever you might need. We highly recommend booking your stay at Cousin Sid’s.
What a great location. Most of our time was spent on the porch watching the kids play in the big front yard. We like to tube at Metcalf Bottoms which was a quick 8 min drive. Pigeon Forge only 19 minutes and Gatlinburg 35 minutes. We loved the big comfy couch and big dinning table for meals. Mia was great to work with.
Y’all, this is a gem! Don’t waste your money overpaying for a tourist “cabin” that’s crammed on a mountain with a steep driveway and no room to breathe. Sid’s Farmhouse has easy access to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Cade’s Cove without the traffic or crowded feel of PF or Gatlinburg. Sid’s place is comfortable and functional. Three full bedrooms, a well-stocked kitchen (that’s all labeled!), and a comfy living room with nice TVs check all the boxes. The view from the front porch is exceptional. We hope to return soon!
The house was great! The photos don't do it justice. Everything was labeled which was very helpful. Enough pots and pans and dishes to cook every night. There was plenty of room for all seven of us with room to spare. The house was clean. Communication was great! Oh the beds! Best night sleep ever! My mattress at home isn't as comfortable as the mattresses in this house! I would definitely stay here again. My only advise is to add a tea kettle and maybe a grill.
The house is in a perfect location, just minutes away from an entrance of the Smoky Mountains national Park. It's in a quiet valley, but not far from larger towns with more attractions and shops. The house is very well maintained and is overall clean. I recommend asking for the entry code in advance as we had to wait some time before receiving it when we arrived. If you plan to stay for more than a couple of nights you may need a few extra items to avoid running out of supplies (e.g. toilet paper, shower soap, dishwasher tabs, aluminum foil). The front yard is beautiful but we did not enjoy it as we hoped due to mosquitoes, so it's a good idea to bring enough repellent. Overall we had a great time!
We really loved staying here. It fit our group perfect! We were up watching our grandson play baseball. It was the perfect distance from everything. We were close enough to Pigeon Forge and the ball parks but far enough from the hustle and bustle. Quick 5 minute trip across the road to the Great Smoky Mountains. Could not have asked for a better location to everything. The house fit all 10 of us perfectly, enough room to come together and watch tv at night. Had an AC issue and contacted host, they were so quick in responding and getting it fixed. Which was awesome and a big thank you for that. Would highly recommend this little gem in Wears Valley. Look forward to staying there again!!!
We had a slight hiccup on arrival that the door code didn’t work and our cell reception wasn’t great so it took about 10 minutes to get the property manager on the phone and get a way for us to get inside the house, but once that was resolved, things were good.
We’re a family of 5 with kids ages 7-16.
The house had a nice setup with bedrooms for us. The couch in the living room will swallow you whole, but there are TVs in the bedrooms and the beds were firm and nice for a good night’s sleep. The water pressure is good for showers. The kitchen has a good selection of cooking and baking pans and small appliances. If you’re staying more than a few days and plan to cook, bring some oil, spices, and dishwasher detergent. The house doesn’t have cooking oil/spices and there were only 3 dishwasher tabs.
We like a good mix of attractions and outdoor activities.
This location was great for visiting areas in Townsend and the National Park! It’s only about 5 minutes to get to Metcalfe Bottoms. Traffic in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was awful… it was only 10-15 min drive to PF, but then you just sit in traffic.
Elvira’s Cafe down the road was a treat-delicious-try the roasted Turkey crepe!
Very nice love all the beds and lay out great open space with kitchen, dinning room, and living room. Check in was so easy really enjoyed would stay again.
We needed a place for my family to stay for my Granddaughter's wedding. This place fit our needs perfectly. We enjoyed our visit and will keep you in mind for our next visit
