Imagine being within 10 minutes of all the fun and excitement the Parkway has to offer, yet deep enough in the forest to catch a glimpse of a bear or raccoon from your bedroom window. This cabin is a hidden gem, allowing you to spend your days at Dollywood, sightseeing, horseback riding or a variety of other adventurous activities within a 15 minute drive. Then return "back home"- slip your shoes off, grill some steaks and gather ‘round the fire-pit for some old fashioned fun.

The area is heavily forested and often visited by wildlife. The green hilltop views from the cabin are spectacular, and calming to take in while rocking on the porch, sipping on some sweet tea!

The Hideaway boasts 3 Suites with ensuite baths along with a Bunk Room for the kids.

The Game Room has a pool table, 60 game arcade and bar height table and chairs.

The Pool Room is located adjacent to the Game Room on the lower level. It offers a relaxing seating area, patio table and chairs along with a 50” HDTV for your enjoyment.

Outside you will find the fire pit with a view of the surrounding hills and the lush forest.

Great place to stay

It’s a beautiful place to stay. We loved the location and the cabin. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and fire pit. Very relaxing and absolutely gorgeous place to stay.

Wonderful Cabin and Perfect Location

This was our second stay at the cabin and absolutely love it. The cabin and surroundings are so nice. We especially enjoyed our mornings drinking coffee on the deck. The family had fun playing the outdoor games and swimming in the pool. The location of this cabin is perfect. You are only minutes away from Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Gatlinburg and the Park.

Awesome cabin!

This is a beautiful cabin that has tons of amenities and is conveniently located close to Dollywood and other attractions. The check-in process was very easy, and the owners were very prompt in communication and did every thing they could to make sure we had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend and would stay here again in the future.

Had a great time visiting the cabin for a short weekend getaway with family and friends. We really enjoyed the covered deck for grilling out and relaxing. Rooms were all as advertised and spacious for everyone.

Our family had a wonderful time staying here. The owners were very nice and super helpful. The cabin was very clean and super cute. Lots of room for everyone, we had 8 adults. I wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely recommend backhome hideaway *****

A beautiful cabin with all you need.

This was our first time staying at this cabin and it met all expectations plus some. Beautifully decorated and designed!! To be honest this has everything you need to have a great weekend without leaving at all!! Was very clean and had lots of room for the kids to enjoy themselves!!

Easy place to relax and enjoy all the area offers

We loved the location of this cabin up a mountain and out of the congestion but easy drives to activities in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or the National Park. Keep driving a few hundred feet past the cabin and you’ll be at the summit and have a view of a most amazing sunset that overlooks the mountains. This cabin is very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The owners are very communicative. Highly recommend choosing this place for a vacation stay.

Mountains of fun

This place was beautiful. Full of things to do if you chose to stay in. The kids thought the road in and out of the neighborhood was a roller coaster. But the house was easy to find and in a great location. We could reach whatever we wanted in a short drive.

Wonderful!

This place was amazing!! Plenty of room and they had it set up for Christmas for us as it was our Christmas vacation. The host were incredible and were quick to respond to everything that we needed. So many things to do inside the cabin that we didn’t even have to leave much. My family and I highly recommend this place! We plan to come back again next year.

Awesome Cabin for Getaway with Family Friends

Great long weekend at Backhome Hideaway with our teenage daughters and family friends. The cabin is in a great location, minutes from everything in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Accommodations were as advertised and well maintained and very clean. The outdoor areas, decks, hot tub, and fire pit were very nice and the indoor pool was a real treat with our young teenage daughters. Sandee was an excellent host and check in and check out were a breeze. We look forward to going back.

Beautiful cabin and great views!

We met some friends at the cabin to enjoy the area activities and all the smoky mountains had to offer! The cabin was a great place to come home to at the end of a busy day or to hang out in the morning and swim/use hot tub or let kids play with toys. We got to see a young bear roaming in the area along with other cute animals!! We had a great time and the owners were very responsive to all our questions!

Annual Family Vaca

The hine was beautiful with a lot of things to do. I enjoyed the hot tub. The pool water was too cold for me but my daughters swam everyday. Great host and very responsive. Make sure to open doors and windows when frying. The smoke detectors are sensitive.

Backhome Hideaway

This cabin was perfect for a small family gathering. The home was beautifully decorated, the kitchen was well equipped, and we were warm and cozy - even in below freezing temperatures! The indoor pool and hot tub was a real plus! It was only less than 3 miles to Dollywood and all the wonderful activities in Sevierville. There was great and quick communication between us and the owners, too. We made some wonderful family memories. We will definitely return to the Backhome Hideaway and recommend this beautiful place to our friends and family.

Should have stayed longer

We really enjoyed the space; only wish we would have booked a longer trip. The host was on top of the communication throughout. Arriving a couple of days before Thanksgiving, we were pleasantly surprised to see the house was decorated for Christmas. Among the typically undervalued amenities, the coffee pot was perfect, giving us K-cup and carafe options. The layout of the place was perfect, with everyone having their own restroom and private retreat. Enjoyed this place a lot!

Back home Cabin

This cabin was perfect for our family. Our group had 4 adults and 5 kids. We all enjoyed the amenities. The kids loved the indoor pool and extra games provided, adults enjoyed evenings in the hot tub. This was our first trip to the Smokies and we loved it! The cabin is conveniently located close to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. The mountain roads are something I didn’t quite used to on our trip …eek … but the views are worth it. You will not be disappointed with this cabin.

Spring break

I scheduled this cabin for spring break for my adult children and grandchildren ages 2,5 and 14. Everyone loved the cabin. Pool was great and used every day. Hot tub was also great. Communication was fantastic. If something was needed, they responded very quickly. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it. Directions on getting there for very detailed. Not to far from many things to do.

Castillo/Arias Tennessee Family Trip 2024

We recently stayed at this lovely cabin named “Backhome Way” & my family & I had a wonderful time. The setting was serene, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle & bustle of daily life. The cabin was well-maintained, clean, & cozy, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was GREAT. This is the first host whom always checked on us & made sure all was well & that was appreciated. The surroundings were beautiful with plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature or the towns which were not to far from the cabin. Whether you’re looking to relax by the fire or explore nearby trails, this cabin is a great choice. My grandchildren favorite part was the pool. We left feeling refreshed & would definitely comfier coming back.
