Escape to Mowgli Cabin, a newly renovated Smoky Mountain retreat just 2 miles from the Parkway in Sevierville. This cabin sleeps up 12, pet friendly (we love our furry friends) & enjoy a private movie room, game tables, poker nights, an indoor jacuzzi, outdoor hot tub, and three levels of decks with seating! Located 2 miles off the Parkway, enjoy all city amenities (food delivery, no crazy roads!) while still having the privacy of your own cabin featuring spectacular views from 3 levels of decks! Enjoy restaurant (or anything you want ) delivery, and close all MAJOR attractions but tucked away for a peaceful community with a fishing pond!

Other things to note
Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7. Read house rules before booking.

• Airport: The McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville is a 1-hour drive to the cabin and is the recommended airport to fly into if you’re coming to the Smokies.

• Access: The private entrance front door is equipped with a smart lock, electronic keypad. A unique door code will be sent to you a couple of days before check-in, no need to meet anyone for keys.

• Roads: The road is paved all the way from the main road to the cabin. Although snow here is rare, in the winter, 4WD or AWD may be necessary. Cell service is spotty in the mountains, we recommend you download the maps of the area for offline use prior to travel, just in case service is lost.

• Parking: Park in the narrow driveway. Parking is available for 3 cars.

Things to note:

• Pet Friendly: 2 dogs allowed per reservation - a flat fee amount of $175 per pet- a payment request will be sent after the booking is confirmed.
Please add pets when booking. We will send out a payment request for the pet fee after the reservation is confirmed.
Please message us if you decide to bring a pet after the reservation has been made & we will send over a payment request via the resolution center
Please note if pets are not disclosed before check-in, a charge of $400 per pet will be charged to unauthorized pets.

• Please be mindful of occasional black bears in the area. Keep car doors locked and ensure trash is properly disposed of to prevent attracting them.

• The guest’s dog must have required shots, licenses, and tags, including name tags.
• Guests must provide dog bedding/crate and towels to wipe off wet paws and fur. Cabin towels are NOT to be used for pets.
• Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds.
• Do NOT leave your dog at the cabin unattended.
• If guests’ dog sheds, please brush the dog outside daily.
• As a courtesy to others, guests will walk their dogs to the road before allowing them to relieve themselves.
• Guests must pick up after their dogs and discard waste properly.
• Dogs are NOT allowed to be washed in the bathtub or showers. Guests may use the garden hose and spigot in the garage for such purposes on the driveway only.
• Guests are responsible for cleaning up any “accidents” their dog has caused inside. Please notify us of any accidents or damage.
• Guests are required to pay for any damage their dog causes.
• Please note that we allow a maximum of two pets per booking. Prior to making a reservation, guests are required to inform us of their pet's breed and size, and we reserve the right to verify this information. We also ask that guests take into consideration the shedding tendencies of their pets, and agree that they will be responsible for any additional cleaning required due to shedding or other pet-related messes during their stay. Please note that guests will be charged an additional fee for any excessive cleaning required.

• Security Camera: There is a security camera on the front of the cabin in place, recording at all times, for your protection. Please do not touch or tamper with the camera or disconnect the Wifi, this is for your own protection.

• Smoking: This is a NON-SMOKING/VAPING cabin.

• Weather: No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are outside our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage.

• Hot Tub: The hot tub & jacuzzi is for guests 25 and over only. Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK! You can refer to your digital manual on how to use the hot tub.

• Trash: Please dump liquids into the sink and not into trash bags. Place all trash into trash bags and secure them in the bearproof trash containers next to the driveway. Trash pickup is Tuesday. We recommend having the trash out late Monday evening.

• Critters: We have a regular pest control company that maintains the grounds. As we are located in a rural area, please note that bugs may be present on the property. You may see & hear critters etc.

• Check-In/Out: Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out at 10:00 AM. We charge $50 per hour for all requests of early check-in & late check-out, based on availability. Please note we may not be able to accommodate early check-ins/ late checkouts. Please message us for more details.

• We will email you a Check-In Form after booking. This agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking. Reservations may be canceled if the Check-In Form is not signed. This correspondence will occur through our Channel Manager OwnerRez.

• We can host a maximum of 12 guests (including all adults, children & infants)- for safety (fire & insurance) reasons, we cannot hold any additional guests.

• This is an authentic log cabin- sometimes the floors may creak & be heard on lower levels.

• As we are located in a rural area, please note that the wifi & cell phone service will be limited. Don't forget to bring your favorite book to catch up on some reading!

• The cabin is in the mountains. The roof is metal. There is no attic. If a squirrel crawls on the roof you will hear it. If it’s raining you will hear it.

• If you see a bear during your stay anywhere- do not feed it & stay away from it. They are dangerous though bears are RARE!

• All amenities including outdoor grill, wifi, hot tub, etc are fully inspected prior to every check-in, however, we cannot guarantee their working condition during stays. If the hot tub is under repair, we will immediately notify you and offer alternative accommodation or cancellation options. If an amenity or feature stops working during your stay but was reported working by our maintenance crew, we will attempt to repair the item but cannot guarantee the repair and no refund will be made. Please note this is not a dingle story home & cable tv is not offered.

• We do not offer rescheduled stays or refunds on cancellations outside of extenuating circumstances policy. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking if you are concerned about the possibility of canceling your trip last minute. Travel insurance is inexpensive and a great way to protect your funds in the event of an unforeseeable cancellation. We understand that last-minute cancellations for guests who choose to not purchase travel insurance can be a burden, however, we are required to uphold our owners' cancellation policies in order to protect their only sources of income and keep their properties in business. Please book responsibly and we appreciate your understanding.

• Any noise complaints or law enforcement calls to the home will result in immediate termination of your stay without a refund. A NoiseAware noise monitoring device is used to monitor external decibel (DB) levels as outlined per City/County Ordinance.
