The mountain view is amazing, but unfortunately the rain and fog did not allow us to enjoy the view the majority of the time we were there. The cabin is wonderful with plenty of room for our group of 8, and very clean. Parking is a challenge with two trucks and a car. There was not room to turn around and backing up the steep muddy drive is not an option. The hot tub was enjoyable. Host was very nice and pleasant to deal with as the hot water heaters quit working and had to be replaced during our stay.

Cloud Piercer Cabin is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The views are better than the pictures can show, and the "cabin" (hard to call it that at 3000sq ft ;-) ) is very spacious with amazing bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms. I loved how all the bedrooms had king beds in them. It hurts to give it 4 stars, and its just because of a couple hiccups we had. 1. I dont recommend getting there in the dark like we did. There isnt much cell service up there, and unfortunately there was a problem with the door code working. Thankfully Sylvia answered my text at 10:30PM and was able to get us in. 2. The downstairs A/C wasn't working and being fairly remote, it is hard to get someone out there quickly when you are only staying 2 days/3nights.Sylvia was great with communicating with us on a work around for the door code - again thank-you for replying at 10:30PM, and worked hard to try and get the A/C fixed. Our stay was just too short unfortunately for there to be time to get it fixed while we were there. Both these issues were probably just bad luck on our part, but know when you stay here you have a host that truely tries to make things right for you! Beautiful property - definitely recommend to those that want to experience the amazing views the Smokey's have to offer.
