About this property
Hide-Away: Quiet Resort Cabin - Brand New Hot Tub - Pet Friendly
- ALL ADVERTISED "1 BEDROOM CABINS" in the Country Pines Resort features an enclosed (PRIVATE) bedroom on the main floor and an open loft (NOT PRIVATE) bed space upstairs. - Not a secluded cabin. Due to being located in a resort setting, there will be neighboring cabins. - Cabins located in the Country Pines Resort, such as this one, are not advertised as cabins displaying any views; these cabins are set in a wooded area, so you will not experience a mountain or city view when reserving this rental property. - Cabins are easily accessible year-round as the roads are well maintained by the resort staff to provide stress-free travel to all guests. The resort is lower in elevation and features roads that are paved, wide, and do not require special vehicles or four-wheel drive to navigate, however, should a four-wheel drive vehicle be accessible to you, it would benefit our guests to drive that vehicle when visiting during the winter months in case of snowfall, to be able to access other parts of town comfortably. - Offers a natural wood burning fireplace inside of the cabin; please keep in mind, our office does not supply wood to guests during their stay. - Furnished with Aspen Log Furniture to enhance the rustic cabin experience. - Charcoal for the outdoor grill, kitchen spices/oils for preparing meals in the kitchen, coffee filters for the coffee maker, and clothes hangers for the closets are special items that we would like to point out that we do not provide to guests during their stay.

Everything was clean and as described. This cabin is located in a good area and you don’t have to climb a steep mountain to get to it. Hot tub was clean and functional. Check-in and check-out was easy. For our short stay (3 nights) this suited our needs.
Downsides:
We didn’t use the loft, but the bed downstairs was a bit uncomfortable and difficult to get out of at 33 weeks pregnant. I wasn’t able to use the cabin WiFi because it didn’t come up as an option to connect to.
This is a great, simple cabin. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) were comfortable here for a week. They provide basic necessities and we especially appreciated the coffee pods that they provided! I agree with other reviewers that the porch needs to be cleaned because it was pretty dirty with cob webs, sticks, etc. I went ahead and swept everything off myself so we could sit outside without worrying about the spiders. (If the cleaners brought in a small electric leaf blower between visitors, that would be a super quick and effective way to keep the porch clean). There were also spider webs and dead bugs in the shower and some corners inside the house. Also, when we first walked in, a very strong powder-type smell hit our nostrils hard. I think maybe a powder they put on the couch pillows? You can definitely hear the cars from the main road behind the cabin, but we didnt mind it. Its about 10 mins from Pigeon Forge, which was nice! Overall, we enjoyed our cabin and would recommend to others that just need something basic for a place to sleep and to save some lodging money!
This was a great property and in a perfect location. Don’t plan on using Wi-Fi though. Also if looking for cabin in the woods this is not your cabin

Good location
The stay was adequate. The location is great . The property needs some TLC. Dryer didn't work, porch was covered in debris and cobwebs that did not happen overnight. Limited kitchen cookware, and the toaster didn't work.
With many cabins to choose in this area Hide Away features a remote feel to the back porch. There are no other cabins in view and you are greeted by beautiful Firefly's at night. Bring your own firewood to enjoy the fireplace in the living room area. The shower has an added bonus of an extra shower head. Something i never experienced and enjoyed very much. Also the staff worked very hard to correct an issue to make my stay more comfortable. Would return to this cabin i had a great time.
we enjoyed the 2 days we were there- had to cut trip short due to death in family.
Wanted to note when we used the outdoor spigot in driveway attached to hose the valve handle broke. Seems it was badly cracked and when I turned it on it broke.
We loved this cabin! It was a little smaller than we expected, but fit our needs perfectly. There were a few scuffs and signs of wear, but everything we used was in working order and the cabin was adequately clean. Our cell-service was better than the Wi-Fi, but we weren’t there for the Internet, so that was fine with us. We received our check-in information at the last second and never received the promised check-out instructions, but the information in our rental agreement seemed to cover what we needed. Overall a really great stay and I would recommend it to my friends who stay in the area. It was a great central location in a quiet area!

Very cozy, great location!
The website pictures were very deceiving regarding the size of the cabin... but it was still cute and cozy. We loved the overall appearance anyway.
There were several light bulbs out, the pillows were hard as rocks, & no can opener.
With it being in the mountains, it would have been nice to have some movie channels on the tv (because any internet connection was "sketchy". It was constantly buffering.)
Easy access to everything. Beautiful view. Sevierville was definitely a good choice.
Hideaway cabin is a pet friendly cabin, we were impressed with the cleanliness given it’s a pet friendly cabin. The cabin was well stocked with utensils, pans and dinnerware for cooking. It was a nice surprise to find a starter supply of coffee for both the coffee maker and the coffee pod, although we brought our own coffee. There was plenty of space for our large dog crate. The porch faced a wooded area and was nice to have my coffee and read early morning, however the road was just beyond the trees so the location was never quiet. Also, if you have a dog consider bringing a gate if you want to let them on the porch. We moved the table and benches to keep our dog from escaping. The cabin did need attention to a few things which we reported to the management company, nothing that interfered with our enjoyment of the cabin. We did use the hot tub, it was clean and felt great after a day of hiking.
While this property is nice. We had a few problems while we were there. The management company was as responsive as they could be. The people in the office are extremely nice.. There is a weird hump in the floor of the doorway to the bedroom that is a major trip hazard and keeps you from being able to close the door. But if you can remember that, this a nice priced stay for a small family who does not need the building to be accessible.
Had a great time and property was as listed. Did not know when I booked it that it was pet friendly for a fee. Downstairs bedroom door does not close but other than that it’s a beautiful cabin.
The only difference I noticed was the shower, but other than that it was a great experience.

Website photos must be from another cabin. Photos made to make the cabin appear far larger than it actually is. Shows recliner, which my husband needs for hip and back issues and something I specifically look for when renting a place, which was not there. Nearly all the doorknobs were about to fall off. Ice maker didn’t work. Washing machine was so loud we literally could not have a conversation while it was running and left a puddle of water on the floor after every load. Handle on the shower kept coming off. But the sad part is that you people already know all this and yet you still let us reserve and pay for such a terrible place to spend 5 nights. We have been staying in Smoky Mountain cabins for over 20 years and this was by far our worst experience. Shame on you for false advertising and lack of desire to fulfill your customers’ expectations.
Overall we had a good stay at this cabin. There were a couple of cleaning issues upon arrival but the property management was responsive and we had a great stay. We would rent this cabin again hopefully when we had more time to stay.
The property was clean, in a nice location, and met all of our needs.
Then only suggestions I would have would be to fix the loose tiles on the bathroom floor and the shower door latch. Other than that if you want something away from town but still close with nice views and accommodations I would give this place a try!
While staying at the cabin my wife and I enjoyed our stay and we got some good rest . We wish we could’ve done more but Mr or Mrs COVID-19 was not nice lol . But we enjoy our visit and really enjoy playing the old school games Thanks for the stay .
We had a comfortable stay in the cabin. We had a few minor issues (fan remote didn't work, washing machine didn't spin enough to dry out clothes). Overall it was a great place to stay. I would come back. Contactless check-in was great given current conditions.
