Disappointed
The listing said nothing about construction on property. They woke us up early on the Saturday with machinery and trucks. We had no privacy. My cousins couldn’t use the hot tub as there were men working right next to it. We contracted the property manager get about it and I’m still waiting for an apology or something from the owners. We paid a lot it was high season and that pricing to have men working and obstructed views was not right especially that we knew nothing about it and there was nothing about it on the listing. Yet not an owner or anyone has called me to fix messing up our vacation like that.

Worst Cabin Rental Experience Ever
Me and my guests booked this cabin for a relaxing weekend and memorable experience. However, the experience was anything but pleasant. The property has mice upstairs in the kitchen, which pest control had to come and spray for during our stay. The downstairs of the cabin was completely cold our entire stay. THERE IS NO WORKING HEAT for the entire downstairs (movie theater, two bedrooms, and arcade room.). Those rooms felt like a meat locker. Management at check in gave us the wrong password to the wifi. The first day and a half we had no wifi nor cellular reception. Later they gave us the correct password. Apparently, the cabin owner changed it without their knowledge. They didn't apologize for none of these discrepancies. They said that field mice is normal doing winter. Which i visit the mountains frequently amd never have I ever dealt with a rodent infestation. They're customer support team is very disrespectful and unhelpful. We requested a refund or some type of accommodations maybe even to a different property, but we were told that They're not going to entertain the notion of such, because they sent someone out to spray for the mice. This is the last time I ever book from through this property management agency. PLEASE DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE. They're are far better options in this area.
The location is amazing. The cabin it self was hard to find but the management staff was able to give us the general directions over the phone and was patient in their actions/communication
Everything was nice about the cabin except two things. The vrbo receipt said to check out was at 11 but the cleaning lady was there at 10. And the hot water smelled like rotten eggs.

Check in process is an absolute nightmare
Regular check in closes at 4:00 PM. The problem is for anyone coming in after that, you are screwed if they give you incorrect information. We were given the wrong door code. Showed up after 9:00 PM and had a very difficult time getting a hold of anyone to help. No cell coverage, so had to leave the property to try to get help. The phone tree does not give any easy after hours contact. Ended up getting a call center who couldn't have cared less about our difficulties. Never did talk to anyone from the agency. Only got a new code given to us by the call center. Really thought we were going to have to sleep in our vehicle, while paying $800+ per night for a house we couldn't get into. Emails not returned until next day. Tap water is undrinkable and smells terrible. Leaves an orangish residue on all clothes washed in washing machine as well as your skin. Trouble with theater room remote (didn't match instructions on wall). Trouble with wireless (and email in reply just said "It shouldn't do that."). No kidding. Overall, the property is nice enough (other than water issues) but this management agency is unresponsive and terrible. If the property owner is reading this review, you should strongly consider changing management agencies because they represent you very poorly.
Overall this cabin was awesome! Plenty of room for the grandchildren, and neighbors at a distance so the noise they were able to play freely as excited children do! The directions to property were incorrect, and cell service was terrible. We had to turn around several times to try and find the property while contacting manager. Then, code would not work on door again had to go back down the mountain to call again, and finally ended up having to wait for a serviceman to come let us in. Management was in contact with us during this time though, and used several means of communication including messenger, texts and attempts to call. Air conditioner kept freezing us out..couldn’t figure out how to keep it set at temperature and at one point the heater even came on..again it was an advance system that we did not know how to operate. Finally the grass was overgrown. We did enjoy our stay, and the kids loved the game room downstairs!!
The property was just like the photos and easy to find with the directions given. Everything was very clean and we felt comfortable in the cabin. The only problems we had were the grass wasn't mowed and there was a lot of pollen build up on the front porch. We had to wash all of the outdoor furniture ourselves which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that everything else was great!
Due to COVID, our travel plans changed. We made a last minute choice to get away even if we needed to be secluded. I was worried that the online pictures wouldn’t match the actual cabin. I was pleasantly surprised at the beautifully clean cabin! We used the fire pit a couple of nights but avoided the hot tub due to 94+ temps. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us. I would recommend bringing a mattress topper for the beds to make them more like home. This was a perfect place to unplug and connect with our family yet close enough to all the major attractions. We are already talking about returning in the fall or spring.
