My family thoroughly enjoyed spending our Thanksgiving week at Firefly Cove. It was a nice, cozy cabin with plenty of room and amenities to make it feel like home. Great location & place to stay!

Firefly Cabin in the Smoky Mountains

The Fire Fly cabin was excellent. The pictures on the website portrayed the cabin very well. Very enjoyable time and very comfortable, clean cabin. The cabin is not that far from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We relaxed in the morning and then went to shows, dinner, and shopping in the afternoon and evening.

Very nice cozy place. We enjoyed our time in it. It’s a little drive to the attractions but it’s out of all the traffic we didn’t have to deal with it. It was a easy in an easy out both Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge. I will read it again.

Cute cabin!

My daughters and I were in town for just a quick visit. This quaint little cabin was exactly what we were looking for! It was easy to find, and the pull-through parking made it easy to park at. The cabin has a main living area. Then the two main bedrooms had their own bathrooms. It would be a great cabin for 2 traveling couples as well. The mattresses were very soft and comfortable. We slept great! The cabin was clean. The communication from the owners was exceptional. No issues checking in. We had a great time and would not hesitate to stay here again!

Mine wasn’t a trip for pleasure this time. My oldest daughter miscarried and almost died. I brought her to the cabin from the hospital to take care of her. The cabin was just perfect. It was so comfortable and very clean. I plan to return there as soon as possible to visit my daughter and granddaughter but this time, it will be for pleasure. ♥️

Firefly Cove

The cabin was clean except for two dead bugs on the floor. I dropped my cell phone under the couch and we swept out a lot of dirt and trash under there. The commodes are way too low, especially for older adults. The sink in the master bath drains too slow and Draino did not help. A new door lock is needed. Otherwise good. We would love to stay there again. Our contact brought us a new coffee maker promptly when we reported that the one there did not work. That was much appreciated.

Peaceful and Relaxing

We absolutely loved this cabin set in a peaceful area of Wears Valley. This is our favorite place to stay when traveling to the Smoky Mountains. It's easy to get to and close to many areas of the national park that we love to visit. It's also easy to go into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg if you want to venture into those areas. Although we were only two people, the cabin would be great for two couples or a family because the two bedrooms have their own full bathroom areas and have doors to shut off each side. We enjoyed being able to relax in the quiet atmosphere and use the claw foot tub in the evenings. The bed we used on the master bedroom side is very comfortable. We also like that all windows have blinds that could be closed at night and the bedrooms also have curtains to block out light if you want to sleep in. Definitely will rebook this cabin when returning to the Smoky Mountains.

We really enjoyed our stay at Firefly Cove! It's getting to the point that none of the cabins in the Smokies are cleaned very well, no matter what you pay, but this house was super clean! I didn't see any dust or cobwebs in the usual places, like light fixtures, above cabinets, etc. The bathrooms were very clean as well as kitchen and bedrooms. They left some snacks like granola bars, popcorn and hot chocolate mix on the island, which was very thoughtful and there was both instant coffee and ground coffee in the cabinet along with coffee creamers and also spices that you might need. The beds were very comfortable, which also doesn't happen much in cabins. The last few times we stayed in rentals in the Smokies, the mattresses were so broken down and uncomfortable! Also, the mattresses weren't too high up. I have a muscle disease and sometimes I barely can climb up on the beds, because the box springs and mattresses are so stacked up. So, for those with disabilities, the house is pretty easy to get into. There is maybe an inch or inch and a half threshold step to get inside from the porch, which a wheelchair could be easily pushed over, if needed. There is a walk-in shower in one bedroom, which is nice, but understand that you will still have to step over into the shower and I'm guessing it is 4 or 5 inches of a step over. There are no grab bars, so I would suggest to owners to get some suction cup grab bars to put in 3 or 4 spots inside the shower for more safety. We have one in our own shower and it works well and doesn't cost much. And, the only other thing that would make the bathrooms more accessible, is new ADA approved tall toilets, at least 16-1/2". The toilets in the cabin are the old fashioned, very short commodes and anyone with bad knees, hips or muscle disease like I have, these are near impossible to sit down or get up from. I always take an over the commode chair, that is height adjustable, which I would recommend to anyone who vacations anywhere where the toilet height could be a problem. They fold up and are easy to transport. But other than these couple things, the cabin is great. The cabin is easy to get to, not high up a steep mountain road, with a pull thru drive. We had to see saw a little to get back out of drive because we have a big full size truck, but it was no problem.Thank you for letting us stay in your sweet little cabin. We would definitely stay there again sometime.
