If you are looking for the perfect Smoky Mountain getaway cabin with fantastic views and a super convenient location, then Above The Clouds is the perfect choice. Located about 8 minutes from Dollywood and 15 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg you will be conveniently located to all the fun. If you want to just stay in the cabin and relax you will enjoy the amazing views of the Smoky Mountains From your Great Room, King Suite, and hot tub or rockers on your covered deck. You will also have a fully equipped kitchen to prepare in cabin meals and dining table and seats for 4. Access to outdoor seasonal community pool, outdoor pavilion, sauna, steam room and fitness center included in your stay.

There is plenty of room for a family of 4 as the great room seating area has plenty of seating and a queen sleeper sofa for the kids. The cabin also features 2 full baths, one with Jacuzzi tub and shower in the suite and then a separate full bath with stand up shower for the extra guests.

Looking for some fun? Shoot a game of pool on the full sized pool table or surf the internet on the free WIFI to figure out your next days activities.

A washer/dryer is included in this cabin for your convenience.

Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Unfortunately the hot tub didn't get warmer than 91 degrees, they sent us a troubleshooting video which was not helpful, the jets in the tub inside were not working, and they didn't give us extra toilet paper, so not exactly luxury, but other than those aspects it was a beautiful place.

Beautiful View, But Uncomfortable Mattress

The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable and appeared to be an old inner spring mattress. In my opinion, it needs a more modern and softer mattress. We had to buy a foam topper to put on it while we were there so we could sleep comfortably. I informed the management company near the end of our stay and they said they would inspect it. I do hope it is replaced with something better. I have rented through Elk Springs 3 times and I have found them to always be attentive to guest needs, so no complaints there.

My cabin stay

Open floor plan with high all wood ceilings and huge windows to accentuate the view. A very cozy feel. Overall we loved the cabin and would definitely come back but there were some negatives. Upon arrival, we noticed the coffee maker, toaster and drain board were disgustingly dirty and stained. We called the management and got the toaster and coffee maker replaced but not the drain board. The top of the fridge was dirty, the caulking around the shower doors was old and stained needing replacement and there were water/soda bottles and trash below the outside steps. I mention these items as they are easy fixes and should be part of a regular “cleanup” after a checkout and prior to the next check in.

First, this company provides first class service to their guest! When we arrived the air conditioner was not working correctly. We called and reported and someone was at our door in 15 minutes or less - very impressive in the world we live in now where service seems always to be lacking. The cabin itself could not have been nicer! Ours was a romantic getaway for our 39th anniversary! The views from the deck are so picturesque! The upstairs the perfect size for two and the master suite downstairs is wonderful with the pool table right outside the bedroom for fun when you first wake up or right before bedtime! Enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of wandering the Smokies! We loved everything about this rental company and this cabin and highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxury getaway! PS The resort pool is just around the corner from this cabin so it's a perfect location!

Allow yourself a little extra time getting there if coming in on a weekend. We are from the surrounding area and know what traffic is like, but still arrived about 45 minutes later than we expected on the back roads. The cabin was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in! Bedroom is downstairs-which was fine for us, but may not be a preference for others who may have difficulty with stairs. Bed was ok-but we prefer a firmer mattress. There was a sports car show in the area and throughout the nights we were able to hear the loud exhaust/mufflers noise from the cars that were staying in the community.(Other than that, it is was very quiet.) We loved the cabin and will definitely be back. Elk Springs was super easy to book through and communication was great! Loved our weekend Above the Clouds!

It was also very easy to communicate with the staff at the resort for check in and out. We originally came for Gatlinburg which was too overcrowded for our liking but the cabin.... What a relief from the loud distracting noises of the city. Up here you can enjoy the peace. Although we could hear the joyful cheers of the zip- liners. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are looking for a cabin with amazing views, this is the one!! We stayed here for our 10 yr anniversary. The pictures do not do it justice. The cabin was super clean and the view was breath taking.
