Liked the kitchen, deck and loft. It was very easy to communicate with the owner. Able to park two cars with turnaround ability. Great location to restaurants, stores, and the great smoky mountains.
Todd we Enjoyed the stay @ your cabin. Convenient to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Cabin was nice and clean. Has a nice view of mountain and fields. Need alil Crimson color in it. ROLL TIDE. Lol
The cabin itself was as explained. Very happy with that. The water heater went out and Todd, The property manager had great communication with us and fixed it immediately. The only issue we had was the hot tub had a layer of scum on top of the water and where you were not able to use it
It was a great little split property that was perfect for our family getaway in the mountains. We had two families with us - 4 and then 2 - the 4 stayed in the main house for 1/2 of the trip until they left... we took the apartment in the lower level. It fit our needs perfectly. The kitchens were stocked with all of the necessities and even some staples in case you needed to use something there.
It is a little far away from the hustle and bustle of PF so if you're looking to stay away from the strip this is the perfect spot. Just be aware of the winding and sloping roads. They can be a bit scary at night if you aren't familiar with the area.
Somethings to work on... the spiders & ants outside - We brought some Zevo non-toxic spray to avoid getting bitten, but it's something that is just out there in nature that some don't think about. The main house is a bit creaky and makes some sounds that we couldn't pinpoint what was making the noises, so don't be alarmed if you hear them. And my only other negative was that it needs some updating/deep cleaning. The apartment downstairs is super cute, it just needs some updates (new toilet, updated shower, etc. Also, the downstairs gets VERY COLD - which I love. Minor cosmetic updates - but is an awesome little spot to relax and recharge. Todd was wonderful and we'd absolutely look into this property again if we end up visiting again. Thank you for the use of the house & property.
Wonderful host and cabin! Little touches like coffee/tea supplies, firewood for the fire pit, towels for hot tub and cute Christmas decorations made it very homey and welcoming. We loved the location. Host was very communicative.
A wonderful little cabin, pretty secluded but was great for our family! It was our first stay in a cabin with our first baby and he had a wonderful time as well! The check in and out process is smooth and Todd is great getting back to you.
Very nice cabin. Extra clean and it had everything we needed plus more. Close to the main strip in Pigeon Forge but far enough (about 6 miles) to stay out of the traffic. Would highly recommend and will be back.
Property worked great for our visit. Close to Pigeon Forge and pretty surroundings. No place to walk to directly from the cabin as it is directly off a main road, so that was really the only downside.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin for my son's wedding in Gatlinburg. Our second son and his wife stayed downstairs, while my wife and I and my mother enjoyed the main upstairs area. Everything was neat, cozy and clean. Thank you Todd for your quick responses to our questions. We highly recommend this cabin get-away.
The host was very hospitable. About three days before our arrival they started communicating with us regularly regarding trip details. During our stay they reached out to offer suggestions for dining and attraction. Even warned us about the drive before arriving.
We loved this cabin. The only thing that we were a little put off by was that it was not clear that the bedrooms were on 3 different levels. We have an autistic child and so this caused a little issue with us parents having to sleep on the fold out couch. But we managed. All other things were great. The communication with the owner and his attention to little details was perfect.
The cabin was beautiful! We loved the shade as it kept the deck cool but the trees did obstruct the view of the mountains. If you want to see the mountain view, you may want to stay when the trees are not in full bloom. The downstairs is really a completely separate living space and the only access to the upstairs is by going outside. It worked ok for us because our kids are adults but I could see where a family with small children wouldn't find that space useful. The thermostat upstairs controlled the entire cabin and we found the upstairs often warm and the downstairs was very cold. These are minor concerns. Despite those comments, we would stay in this cabin again. It was a good price, in a good location and was quiet and cozy.
We absolutely loved our time at the cabin. Todd was very easy to get in touch with about any questions we had. The view is great and we even took a little hike near the cabin. The cabin itself was perfect for 5 of us plus 2 fur babies. It’s very peaceful and close enough to a lot of great places to go. We will be going back.
