All expectations were met. Our stay was very enjoyable, peaceful and relaxing. This is a very well kept cabin in a great location for quick access to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I would stay here again without pause.
We loved this cabin rental and it was perfect for our little family of 4! Be SURE and use the owner's directions - we came the other way thanks to our own misreading our minivan almost didn't make it up that road! We were thankful to find the other way was far more manageable. The size and layout of the cabin was great for us. The loft room was very loved by our kids, who were happy to use both the Game Cube and the added PacMan (etc) video gaming system (which was not in the listing so a nice surprise for them). Note there are no shades up here, so anyone sleeping with light sensitivity will want to bring a sleep mask. The bed in the master (king bed) was also just fine, though I would have loved a memory foam topper, that wasn't expected. Great jacuzzi tub and shower, plenty of hot water. Note the fireplace in the LR is gas, but the bedroom is electric/space heater. One of the best parts of this cabin are the front and rear decks facing west/east, perfect for sunrises and sunset views. Location is also great. I might suggest a few small changes - the leftover Christmas decor (in March) was a bit odd. A few small care amenities (K-Cups, sugar, usable cooking oil) could add a lot. The biggest issue we had was that the oven and kitchen sink light were not working. The owner did let us know this advance, but it would have been nice to get it fixed in the 6 days we were there, we def had to adjust our cooking plans. Overall, would be happy to stay again!
This cabin was absolutely AMAZING!! My husband and I planned this trip for our one year anniversary and it was perfect. The property is private and secluded while also being super close to downtown. The game room upstairs was so fun and the window looking out into the woods was perfect for a stormy night. The hot tub was so easy to open and get started. We couldn’t have picked a better cabin for our weekend getaway! I would definitely book again in a heartbeat!
The entire family enjoyed the hit tub, pool table, air hockey table and movie projector. Great location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Follow directions provided by host for easier route to cabin.
This is very neat cabin located a on a top of a hill in very secluded wooded area. It is only 10-15 minutes from Pigeon Forge attractions and Smokey Mountains. Dollywood and Gatlinburg are short driving distance as well. The cabin itself was perfect for the three of us. It is full of amenities yet very quiet. We loved the outside jacuzzi, the pool table, and Netflix. Although it took us a bit to figure out how to use all that technology. We typically spent the most part of the day hiking and would come back in the evening to enjoy the cabin. Special thanks to Anya, the property manager. She was super responsive and helpful. I exchanged several emails with her prior to the trip and texted her few times while at the cabin. She always responded very fast and was very helpful. If you travel to this cabin, please use directions provided by Anya. None of the search engines have the roads properly mapped out around the cabin and GPS will send you the wrong way. Now that we are familiar with the area and know how to use the tech, we hope to come this place again.
I'll cut to the chase; I would definitely rent this cabin again, and would recommend others this cabin. Anya, the host was great. Here is why I would come back. Anya and Boris have put together a beautiful cabin and have graciously open the doors to others to enjoy their getaway. It is nestled in the woods, high up in the hills. The other cabins are far enough away from you that you feel secluded in the woods. The view from the large windows give the appearance you are in a tree-house. From both front balconies you can view the distance valley and see the lights of Pigeon Forge. You will also experience spectacular sunsets over the mountains on the front side. You will wake to the sounds of birds and at night hear only the leaves rustle in the wind. On rainy days, or days you feel like not going out to explore, you can read a good book (bring your own), sit in the recliner and enjoy the fireplace and the view. There are plenty of games and activities in the cabin to keep yourself and family occupied. The sounds of a mountain brook will sooth you as you swing on the back porch swing. My wife and I had the pleasure to stay for five nights. The cabin is on a well, but I can say that the water was great. I am a water drinker, and the water had no funny smells or taste. We made several meals in the cabin and there were adequate supplies to cook. Anya, responded to our inquiries during the booking process and while at our stay in a reasonable time frame and was always polite and professional. Now the drive in. Use Anya directions, they are accurate and will get you to the cabin without any issues. Just realize if you haven't been to this area before you will be driving up steep, curvy, and narrow roads. Take it slow. Definitely must have four-wheeled drive in winter months. We came in April and have a two-wheeled drive vehicle and had no problems. The roads are paved. You will crest a couple of hills in the road and are blind to the other side, so be cautious. We were able to get to either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge within twenty minutes if not quicker (based on traffic). Plenty of sights and and attraction to keep yourself busy. Clingsmans Dome and Cades Cove are within an hours drive and worth the trip. There is plenty of room for parking and you can easily turn you car around in the cabin's driveway so you can just drive in and pull out without having back out. This is a great place to get away to relax and decompress.
If you’re looking for a relaxing, private cabin this fits the bill. The loft is a kids paradise, but even with no kids with us, we made use of the pool table. The downstairs bath is a little tight, but it was supplied with all the necessities. We loved the hot tub on the back deck and spent every evening out there. While it’s off the beaten path, the cabin’s not too far from the parkway, conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
