My family and i (11 of us) stayed for a week and the cabin was great. Plently of space for everyone to hang out and things to do for the kids to keep entertained.we would definitely go back to this cabin again.
We had 10 adults and two kids and all fit comfortably with plenty to do at the cabin. It’s secluded, yet close to the main strip. We hope to be back next year!
Lovely, comfortable cabin that worked well for our family of 12. I do recommend bringing your drinking water as that from the tap had “earthy” odor and taste.
Perfect property for a wonderful Christmas getaway! Very clean with all the amenities needed. Staff was very helpful and professional. Property was very close to all the fun, yet quiet and private. We will be back!
This cabin is very nice, clean and plenty of room. We all enjoyed our stay here but the only little small thing were the spiders web and one of the tv went out of services in the bedroom on the main level. But other than that I would not mind coming back to use this cabin.
Great property for our family of 9! Living area adjacent to dining and kitchen provided ample room for everyone. Laundry facilities and grill were an added bonus. The younger folk enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and old school video console! AC on main floor went out on next to last day but Summit folks had it fixed ASAP. Check in was super easy with code sent prior to arrival. Had numerous small maintenance issues that didn't impact our stay. Sent the list of issues to Summit Cabins folk. Less than 6 minutes to Pigeon Forge. I'd definitely stay here again.
Great cabin near Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and national park. With 5 bedrooms our family of 7 had plenty of room. You could comfortably fit at least 4 more people. As mentioned in other reviews there is a steep hill to get to the cabin. This wasn’t a problem for us in the summer but could be an issue in the winter. The only issue we had was when we did laundry in the middle of our stay the washing machine didn’t drain properly and we were left with very wet clothes that took hours to dry. We let the property manager know but did not receive any communication back about fixing it.
Short version: Beautiful cabin in Sevierville, just minutes from Pigeon Forge and 25 min from Smoky Mountain National Park. Our party of 8 had tons of room and all the amenities we wanted. Big Bear Lodge is in great condition and the rental company is easy to deal with and responsive. We had a great vacation hiking, sight-seeing, going to Dollywood, and shopping. A+ would recommend it and would stay there again.
Longer Version: There are some things not explained in the listing that are worth going over in more detail. I understand the rental company can’t write a book on the place but more detail in the reviews is something I find helpful. For starters, there are 5 full bedrooms (1 upper level, 2 main level, 2 lower level) and you could be very comfortable with 10 adults (5 couples) in this cabin. Throwing in 4-5 kids would be very doable but might include some sofa sleepers. The cabin is well appointed and cutely decorated in mountain style but it is a little worn around the edges (the decks need to be restained), which I don’t fault anyone for. It’s clearly popular and booked often so wear and tear is normal.
The not so good…the master bedroom jacuzzi tub on the 3rd floor isn’t exactly functional. The water pressure is so low on the 3rd floor and the tub is so big it took a full 60 min to fill past the jets (I timed it) and even then the water had a yellow tint and smelled slightly of sulfur. Basically you need to pretend it doesn't exist when booking.
The property was as expected. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. Our teens and tweens loved the game room and extra space. Our adults loved the porches and the hot tub. The location is close to everything and easy to get to. When ib had a question, the property management responded quickly and were very helpful. I can't recommend this location more highly.
We stayed at big bear lodge for a wedding in town and it did not disappoint! Great accommodations for people of all ages. Only downside is the steep hill to get to the cabin with small children other than that it was everything you need for a fun get away!
Our stay was awesome!!! We are looking forward to the next trip!! The cabin was just as seen in the photos. Very relaxing and family friendly. It almost felt like home!
We had a great time in the cabin. The whole family was comfortable and had their own space to stretch out. The pool table and the hot tub and fire pit were all popular with the kids. We wouod stay again.
Parking is tricky, we have an F-150 so it stuck out a bit but we made it work. The view in the morning on the back deck was spectacular! We also enjoyed seeing nature interact around us! One part of our group saved a baby deer, the kids saw a bear stick his nose up. It is so close to everything yet you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere! PERFECT! The cabin rental people are awesome! We called because our trash was full and they came and picked it up within 2 hours!

On steep hills. Thermostat locked on 55 when we got there
Fireplace didnt work
TVs in bedrooms didnt work
Mainfloor tub doesnt drain properly
Our cabin was very nice, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything while there. Nice location of the cabin as well being very close to town so its a short drive to go out. I do want to note that I wished there were more cooking utensils available as it is recommended for family vacations and when we go on family vacations, we like to stay in a cook just as much as go out, but when cooking for a large group of adults, you have to cook larger quantities, and, for example, after every meal we had to clean the one spatula we could find to cook multiple things. It may be on purpose, but regardless it was a small inconvenience. Regardless of this, we had an amazing time, and I would still choose this cabin again for future vacations.

Excited and disappointed
Loved this property-the set up was great for 3 Families-plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms.
The only let down and disappointment was the Washer-service call was made -was not able to wash-if you did wash clothes did not drain water from your clothes I had to take to the sink and rinse then ring out water. It took clothes 1:45 to dry
That is the reason I chose this property due to our party of 11: We had to call & request for garbage pickup for 3 days they did pickup.
