When you're ready to venture out of your centrally-located lodge atop Thunder Mountain, you'll be close to all the sights. It's less than a 15 min. drive to the fun and excitement of Pigeon Forge in one direction and the calm country feeling of Wears Valley in the other. Cool off in the seasonal pool, along with fishing pond access, just a 15 min. drive from your front door. The outdoor pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. In less than 25 min. you can be in downtown Gatlinburg with it's many shops and eateries, along with Anakeesta and the Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies.

One of the best properties we have stayed at! The cabin was just as advertised and was convenient to everything Pigeon Forge has to offer! The drive up the mountain is easy to navigate and there’s plenty of parking for multiple vehicles if staying with family or friends. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and enjoy ourselves. We would absolutely rent this cabin again on a return trip to Tennessee! Thank you all so much!

Amazing hosts and property

Great Stay

This was our 3rd vacation in the area. The cabin was perfect for us, 6 adults and 4 young kids. Not to far from town, yet far enough to be remote. We even saw a bear, which was a bonus for us. Great layout, the kids really enjoyed the camp loft.

We had a fantastic stay at Suite as Honey Lodge! I highly recommend using Douglas and Sandee. They were wonderful hosts to us, checking in on us before and during the stay. The accommodations could not have been better and the surrounding area was beautiful. We will definitely come back.

The location of this beautiful cabin is perfect. The roads are wide and not bad at all to drive up. It’s located close to town so that was a plus. The cabin was very clean. It was cozy and roomy at the same time. We loved everything about it.

Great location

Great location and a wonderful cabin for your family vacation. We had nine guests, including three children ages 3-5 years. Plenty of room and the girls loved the upstairs loft. Location is in the mountains but only 10 minutes from the strip and Pigeon Forge. Well worth the money and we will definitely stay here again in the future.

Our family had a great time! Loved having bathrooms in each suite. We had an issue with water pump but was quickly resolved from management which was wonderful. We got snow the last night and that was exciting. A great family vacation and home away from home!

We loved that Check in was very easy !! There was plenty of room for the whole family to be together yet at the sane time for everyone to have their own space. Kids loved the tent area in the loft. Teens loved the game room. We even got to see a bear in the middle of the road while we were there !!!

So nice! There are three floors, so even though we had our privacy, we could also gather together at the kitchen table. Also, I loved the arcade game Donkey Kong, and so did my hubby…that’s what we did most of the time, lol 😂

Smoky mountain new year 2025!

3 generations of our family met up to ring in the new years at this beautiful luxury cabin in the Smoky mountains. Everything was perfect! Mountain views 2 balconies hot tub pool table private bathrooms and an adorable "kids camp" in the loft! The host has all of your needs covered and more! They supplied games and puzzles and Christmas tree and decor for the holidays which was an added bonus. They are wonderful with communication which made everything effortless. We made several trips into the Smoky mountain park to hike and saw deer wild turkey and a family of black bears. We can't wait to come back!

It was a great cabin, we enjoyed our time and our view. The cabin was higher up than expected, but that's only an issue when it snows and need to get somewhere but to look at the snow from the cabin was still great. The only issue we had was the heat not working properly in certain areas but the hosts communicated well with us after we told them the problem, which they were sending the hvac people out to fix it for the next guests. Hot tub was great, jacuzzi tubs were great, and playing pool. Plus it's peaceful, you will enjoy your time. were

Perfect for the whole family

Our family spent 5 nights at the Suite as Honey Lodge. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. There’s so much to do in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, and to come back to a cozy house when we can all gather together to make dinner, play games and watch movies was just perfect. We had 3 couples and a toddler. With each bedroom having its own bathroom, there was more than enough privacy for everyone. The kitchen had all appliances, utensils, gadgets, etc you need. Would love to go back again with the family!! Sandee and Douglas are very communicative and answered all of our questions before and during our stay. You can’t go wrong with this home!

Perfect Family Vacation

Suite as Honey Lodge was perfect for our family vacation. Our group ranged from 55-10 months, and we all enjoyed our time together! The games and mega blocks were perfect for our evening wind downs, and pool table was a hit with little brother and oldest son(15 and 7). My boys also loved the cub loft, and went to sleep most nights with the lanterns flickering. The pack and play and high chair were great to have for my 10 month old. My parents, my husband and myself enjoyed our mornings and evenings on the porch. Suite as Honey lodge was a perfect home away from home, my middle son (5) asked, “why we couldn’t just stay there longer!?” Thank you Sandee and Doug for a great stay!
