DANCING BEAR is a cozy cabin with awesome 30 mile views. Situated in a semi secluded mountain setting between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Dancing Bear is a beautifully decorated log cabin that sleeps 2-4 with Spectacular Mountain Views and is perfect for a romantic getaway or small family vacation. Dancing Bear is located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg just minutes from both towns and only 5 minutes from Dollywood, Splash Country and the National park. Dancing Bear is equipped with everything you could need; fully equipped kitchen, cable, Flat screen tv's, pool table, hot tub, gas fireplace, washer & dryer and don't forget BREATH TAKING VIEWS!!! Make plans now to stay in this truly amazing one bedroom, one bath log cabin with out of this World views!

Our cabin is located in a log cabin community called Sky Harbor, accessed from the King Branch Road exit just a couple of minutes drive southeast of Pigeon Forge on Parkway 441 going up the mountain toward Gatlinburg. All cabins are owned individually, as opposed to being part of a resort. You can expect to drive 5 minutes from the Parkway up to the cabin. The closest Trolley Stop is located at the Gatlinburg Welcome Center, just a few minutes farther southeast from the King Branch Road exit on Parkway 441. Click on our map link to see exactly where Dancing Bear is located and you can zoom out to see Pigeon Forge (about 2 minutes northwest from the King Branch Road exit) and Gatlinburg (about 5 minutes southeast).

You will enjoy the privacy and peacefulness at Dancing Bear, since each cabin lot is about an acre and the nearest cabins are at least 200 feet away on either side, or 500 feet down the mountain.

As you enter this cozy cabin you will find a beautifully decorated open area with gas fireplace and a Flat screen TV with DVD player along with a large leather Couch and Chair with cozy pillows along with a wood rocker. The fully equipped kitchen includes a wood table with four comfortable chairs. You will be pleased to find there are plenty of silverware, utensils, pots & pans, cook and bake ware, appliances and of course a coffee maker and toaster.

In the master bedroom you will see the Jacuzzi perfect for a romantic evening. You will also have a sturdy King size bed with handmade country quilt, dresser and flat screen.

Enjoy a game of pool or darts in the gaming area. You will never have to leave this cabin paradise to have a great time! On the large back deck you will have a huge hot tub, plus rocking chairs to enjoy the mountains with your special someone. You will have complete privacy on the deck!

The cabin has lots of adorable and romantic decorations with lots of windows for viewing the mountains. There is a full bathroom with washer and dryer. There’s even an ironing board and hairdryer! Amenities include Cable TV and wireless internet.

This is the ultimate cabin to enjoy your honeymoon, celebrate an anniversary or romantic getaway and is also perfect for a small family that wants to have fun. We hope that you will enjoy the amazing views this cabin has to offer.

A beautiful anniversary escape

My husband and I had a great time staying in this wonderful cabin for our 15 year wedding anniversary. The fireplace and hot tube were so cozy and comforting after long days of hiking. The view was also gorgeous!

Perfect holiday stay

We stayed here over christmas with our 2 kids. We loved the cabin, very spacious, great view. The drive to it was pretty steep and unexpected but with clear driving conditions no issues. Easy access to get in and perfect location to pigeon forge. And Gatlinburg.

Smoky Mountains Visit

This was a wonderful place to stay for my wife and I. We had a relaxing three nights playing pool, sitting by the fire, and enjoying beautiful views from the hot tub on the deck. Very clean and well stocked. Close to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Only negative is the steep drive up to the cabin - would not want to attempt in bad weather - in fact, we didn't want to attempt after dark! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Beautiful Location

The cabin location felt private and there was a nice view. The cabin was nicely furnished and we slept very good in the bed. We had 4 bear sightings from the back balcony at the cabin which was exciting. We loved our stay.

Weekend Retreat

Arrived for short holiday into Smokey National Park. House was conveniently located. The kitchen and home were appropriately stocked. All appliances worked. Fireplace on timer was fantastic. Outdoor hot tub was immaculately clean. Views were stunning.

My trip to the dancing bears cabin was nothing but amazing I recommend this cabin to anyone that needs peace it's quiet soothing and satisfying and we actually got to see a family of bears on our trip they was on the front porch and we actually witnessed them climbing the trees just amazing I would definitely be coming back again

Loved it!

The cabin is perfect. Very clean and proximity to Smoky Mountain National park is great. They really need a new Bed. Maybe a box spring would help the bed. Hot tub was our favorite. Wildlife was a plus. Saw a bear for the first time and I have been to TN multiple times. Thank you Dancing bear for making this the best trip!!!

Cabin was clean , organized and had essentials provided. Fire place and hot tub was a nice feature to have when it was freezing outside. Within good driving distance from pigeon forge and Gatlinburg while still being secluded. The perfect get away cabin for a honeymoon or anniversary trip. We will be back

Anniversary Celebration

Cabin gave excellent view of the Smokies. It was situated in a good location, half way between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.The two and half mile drive up the mountain was challenging and exciting!

Great Cabin!

Cabin is clean and in a safe neighborhood. Close to Gatlinburg. We did a lot of hiking trails. One night we hiked to LeConte Lodge. The cabin is reasonably close to the trails in and out. We felt it was a safe location to leave all of our belongings we didn't backpack with us for our stay on the mountain.

The trip up the mountain was scary the first time but easier each time after. The cabin was beautiful, comfy, with spectacular views. We wanted to celebrate our 10th Anniversary and share in the experience of the Great smokey Mtns this place did not disappoint!!!

Quiet and Serene

Very nice cabin tucked away up the in mountain community. Quite the drive up the mountain but manageable if you drive slow. Bedroom was large but lacked area for clothing, living room was comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Large outdoor deck with hot tub was awesome and spent most of our evenings there. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and we enjoyed seeing the Great Smokey Mountains and Gatlinburg.

Quiet Place to Relax

This was a perfect place for us. We wanted to stay in the mountains while we explored the Smokies on day hikes. The cabin provided for all our needs and the host responded immediately to our requests and questions. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, and fabulous view. The cabin was very comfortable and a welcoming place to come home to after our several day hikes in the Smokies. If we ever find ourselves needing accommodations in the area again, we will definitely look here first.

Wonderful cabin days

1st time staying in a cabin. Owners thought of everything to make it very comfortable. The only complaint was the bed needs a new mattress, it was uncomfortable. View was amazing even in winter. Road up to cabin is very steep, a little scary going up. Overall, we really enjoyed it.

25th Wedding Anniversary

Our stay at Dancing Bear was fantastic. The first time up the mountain to the cabin was exciting. After we went up and down a few times we did get used to it. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable including the bed, we slept great. We stayed 10 days and there was so much to do and see. It was a beautiful area and the mountains are stunning which you can see from the back deck of the cabin. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful experience at this lovely cabin! Our favorite cabin we have rented in this area. Perfect size for couples. Very clean, bed very comfortable, washer and dryer was a plus we appreciated. Beautiful view from deck & hot tub. Rob responded quickly to any correspondence needed by us. We would highly recommend.

Great Location

Everything was great-we did notice that previous party left coffee in the coffee pot and we cleaned that (we brought our own Keurig). The only negative thing I can say (and I hate to), but the mattress on the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I chose this home due to its secluded location and convenience to many areas in the Smoky mountains that we wanted to see. We loved coming back to the cabin after a long day of hiking and sightseeing and sitting on the back deck. We never tired of that view! The home was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked if you wanted to cook. We highly recommend staying here if you want to be away from the crowds of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We would definitely stay here again!
