The cabin was very relaxing. The check in process was simple & efficient. The decor was just right. We enjoyed the view, peacefulness & relaxing in the hot tub in the evening.
Would consider staying again- very good communication and nice location and cabin was as expected or better. Only minor complaint was cabin could have been cleaned slightly better but still overall was clean enough.
Stayed 1-4 Aug. Great location about halfway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Seen Black bear everyday. Will try and stay during the week next time. Gatlinburg got kinda crowded on Saturday.
All the amenities of home. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and soaking in the jacuzzi bath tub while viewing the breathtaking scenery. It doesn't get better than this !!!
The cabin does have a wonder view and semi secluded location. The cabin is perfect for couples who want a nice quiet getaway. The large windows let in lots of light and were wonderful to wake up to the mountains view. We also seen a few bears in the neighborhood which was very neat. There are some steep hills but nothing too bad.
Fantastic view from loft bedroom and spacious balcony
The cabin we stayed in offers beauty and comfort. Has a video game machine and pool table or amazing internet speed for for days not fit to go out. The cabins look almost like they grew out of the mountain. The roads are paved and well maintained. Flatlanders may want to request a cabin near the bottom but the real beauty is near the top. The whole process from reservation to checkout was fantastic. Many thanks to Aunt Bugs Cabin Rentals for making our vacation spectacular.
Some of these reviews stated on this property are not whatvwe experienced as far as cleanliness and supplies for the kitchen. Out of all the vrbo we have used this has got to be the most stocked kitchen we have had yet when it comes to supplies. The cabin was clean and yes the couch was work, but suited us just fine because its lived in constantly. Loved the hot tub and the closeness to everything. We will stay again thats for sure.
The cabin was nice, and all was as advertised. the only issue is the sound of the living room TV. however, once I signed on to Netflix it corrected itself. so, I guess it is the cable box and not the TV. the staff was very helpful, and the location is awesome.

This cabin has an amazing view from the back porch. We went in the fall and it was beautiful seeing the all the fall colors on the trees and a great view of the smoky mountains. It's a great location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The drive to the cabin once you get in the neighborhood is narrow only wide enough for one car. But it's not too bad. The only bad thing I can say is the the cabin needs a deep cleaning. Other than that's it was a great place to stay for our small family. I would definitely rent this cabin again.

The cabin was cute, the view was lovely, and we enjoyed hiking around the neighborhood. But, frankly, we were disappointed with the cabin. It was purely maintained. We had high expectations, given the reviews and the price we paid. The shower head was clogged and needed replacing. The propane tank for the fireplace was empty and not filled until day 5 of our 7 day stay. The hot tub did not work. Maintenance came on day 2 and showed us how to remove the fuse from the fuse box and plug it back in to get the tub to work. We thought it was a one time fix, but we had to do that multiple times per day for our entire stay! When maintenance came on day 5 to light the pilot light in the fireplace after the propane tank was filled, he told us it was a sensor that needed to be replaced, but we weren't interested in having maintenance come back a third time. Only one burner on the stove worked, which made it difficult to cook our meals. There was a nice dishwasher but no dishwasher soap was provided. Lots of spoons and knives but only two dinner forks and two dessert forks. Dangling weather stripping on the front door. Very squeaky back door. No broom. Flickering and burnt out light bulbs. Some nails on deck were sticking out and need to be hammered back in. The pool cue rack is loose. The wooden strip on the floor separating the kitchen tile from the hardwood floor is loose. All of these things are basic maintenance. This cabin should not have been rented in that condition.

Not the best and not the worst
The place wasn't horrible but not the best experience.
The mattress was absolutely terrible!!! The sheets were too small for the bed. The floor was filthy and had not been mopped in quite some time. Tried to mop but there was no mop to be found. My socks were so dirty from walking on the floor that i had to change socks before putting on shoes. The hot tub was nice. Overall, I wont be staying there next time.
Aunt Bugs was very communicative regarding check-in and expectations. The cabin was about 2 miles outside of Pigeon Forge and minutes from restaurants and entertainment, while remaining in a natural environment, quiet, peaceful and scenic.
The cabin was clean and gave a woodsy feel. Full windows on the rear of the cabin provided and nice view upon waking in the queen bed, loft bedroom. A pool table and video game with several games added to things to do but couldn’t touch the 4 person hot tub on the rear deck, hot, clean and protected from view.
If I had to be picky, the shower located downstairs from the bedroom was tiny for the claustrophobic and while the fireplace didn’t work upon arrival, it was fixed by the time we returned from seeing the town. The hills getting to the cabin can be intimidating but just take your time.
We didn’t use the washer or dryer, nor the indoor jacuzzi tub but it was nice that they were available.
No ‘real’ complaints. As we have never been to the area and will return ‘in’ season and upon the return, I would use this cabin again or al the very least, something from Aunt Bugs.

Cute cabin
This cabin was cute and cozy and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was comfortable, and we loved the pool table and hot tub. The kitchen was adequately stocked and having the washer/dryer was very helpful.
One criticism of the experience: I paid half of the total cost with my own credit card and knew up front that I would have to sign a Credit Card Authorization form and that I would be required either to check in in-person or to check in "digitally" by sending a photo of my driver's license/face and credit card. A friend of mine paid for the other half of the cabin with their own credit card as a gift to me - I was not surprised that the friend would need to fill out a separate Credit Card Authorization form, but what did surprise me was that Aunt Bugs expected for the friend to also send a photo of their license/face, even though the friend was not staying in the cabin. Aunt Bugs sprung this requirement on me 2 days before I was planning to travel out of state to their cabin. This seemed unnecessary and very invasive of my friend, but Aunt Bugs would not budge on this requirement. I ended up having to forego the gift from the friend and pay for the entirety of the cabin out of my own pocket (plus an additional charge for them to refund my friend's credit card).
We ended up enjoying our stay at this cabin, but if I had known the extent of what would be required of my friend to gift us part of the stay, we would have picked a different location.
The cabin is in a great spot up the mountain, easy access from the parkway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The cabin is very pretty but in need of a little TLC. Furniture was usable but not in great shape. The couch had several tears in the one cushion. There was a pool table and a video game machine, which we did use, but especially if you have kids be sure to brings some games with you in case of a rainy day because there were none at the cabin. The kitchen has only the bare essentials needed if you plan to do much cooking, as we did. We were able to make it work but were disappointed that the kitchen wasn’t better set up for cooking in, i.e. there are only two pots one very small and one very large. There is a gas grill on the deck though which was very nice to have. Hot tub was very nice and worked perfectly, as did the jacuzzi tub upstairs. View from the bedroom is phenomenal. Be sure to lock your car doors and DO NOT leave any food or trash in it! Forgot to take bag we were using for trash out of the car and when we got up the first morning there a bear had opened the car door and the bag was shredded and strewn all over the ground. We had our convertible and the roof was up so thankfully we didn’t lock the doors in this case as the bear probably would have ripped through the roof to get to it. Lesson learned!
