"Excellent place to stay. We’ve never been in the area and were apprehensive since where we were site seeing wasn’t close to any big towns and was more near farmland. But when we drove up it was a lovely looking place and when we walked in, so clean and fresh! The beds and pillows were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Can’t complain about a thing at this place!"

"Absolutely beautiful remote spot. Bed was so comfortable, bathroom and shower were top notch, and the kitchen had all the basics we needed from kitchen scissors to pot holders. Washer and dryer worked great. Bring everything you need, and you could literally stay for days and enjoy the quiet and solace. We did a lot of exploring during the day, and returned in the evenings. Can’t say enough nice things about the location and accommodations- just wonderful!"

"We had a great time. Stayed 4 nights. Host Matthew is outstanding. Nice clean little house on the river. Nice back deck. Hot tub is clean and relaxing. Lots of accommodations a person could need for a relaxing stay. Short walk to the river. Caught a bunch of fish. Bass, fall fish, blue gills and pumpkin seeds. Nice fire pit by the house and on the river bank too. . We didn't want to leave. We drove to Staunton for a train excursion. Went to Luray caverns. Definitely would stay again."
