We stayed in the castle 3 years ago and this was the only place on our return trip to Portugal that we had to revisit. We stayed in a suite this time and loved it. Bed is a bit short though. Breakfast is included and is totally worth it. Plenty of selections.

"The hotel is located on top of a hill. Far from the city center. Walking down the hill is easier than walking up to it. We took Uber to and from the hotel every time. Which adds to the cost. However, the panoramic view of the city from the hotel was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. ..."
