The staff was very good - let us check in early. No in-room coffee - 3 euros for a tea. Reported very dirty floor and smelly bed on check-out but don't think they were going to act on it. Feral cats annoying. Pricey for what it was.

Setabul trip
It was a bit far from the centre, but not too expensive to taxi into Setabul, the pool area was really drab but that is probably because of Covid restrictions. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful

Best Ibis, like an Ibis resort
Great outdoors space, with a pool and sitting area. Possibly the best Ibis I've stayed in. Rooms were what you'd expect at Ibis. Also lots of on-site free parking!

he PERFECT holiday hotel
I could not be more happier with the Ibis Hotel on the outskirts of Setubal. I did not have a car BUT a bus stop and reliable taxi service meant coming and going was a breeze. The swimming pool was very popular. The breakfast spread was outstanding as was the level of service I received. Highly Recommended.

Hotel good, location poor, too far out of town. Not easy to find, I had 2 Satnav’s and still could not find the entrance even though I could see the hotel.

Room kind of smelled. Even after turning on the AC, the smell just got worse. Maybe just some nice ventilation would have made the night much better. Also I’m pretty short, but I can easilyyy touch the ceiling in the shower. The shower is raised, compared to the other parts of the bathroom, so if you are around 6 feet tall, it may be a little uncomfortable. Staff was nice though : )

Great swimming pool
There is nothing immediately outside the hotel except a cafe across the road. However this cafe is family run and serves typical Portuguese style food at very reasonable prices. Hotel Ibis only provides prepackaged meals unfortunately. About 15 mins walk down the road is an Intermarche supermarket and another 10 minutes further is the Allegro Shopping complex. Along the way there are quite a few restaurants. The hotels looks like it has been recently renovated and displays trendy decor. There is no lift in this hotel but if you have a lot of luggage perhaps request one of the many rooms on the ground floor. The room had a single wardrobe and adequate space for luggage storage. The bed was very comfortable with great pillows and the bathroom was compact but acceptable with nicely done shower unit. We did not have issues with any of the staff who were pleasant and courteous. Breakfast buffet is available for $6.90 which appeared attractive but we did not have any. The Wifi and aircon were excellent. A lot of English TV channels which was great. Lots of free parking available within the hotel grounds. Great swimming pool. A good value hotel. No surprises. Would definitely stay again.

Clean Hotel
New feel to the hotel, friendly staff, very clean room and bathroom. A nice range of food for breakfast. We sat and had a nice drink in the bar, reasonably priced but we would like some ciders please!

OK. But quite dated, not 3 star quality
Overall ok stay, but not 3 star quality. The hotel is quite dated and the carpets are rather old and looked dirty. At first we were given a room with a really foul-smelling bathroom. Thankfully reception was able to respond to this complaint quickly and put us in another room which had an updated bathroom.

Nice and confortable hotel
This hotel is about 20km from Lisbon. My husband and I stayed here for two nights so we could visit Lisbon. The hotel was very clean, confortable and staff very professional and helpful. Good value for money, highy recommended!

Electricity Break down
There was no electricity in the Hotel for the 2nd night and the morning that we left. No hot water no light in the dark Bathroom. Only a token cold breakfast. All night we were promised that they are waiting for Electrician to start their own generator. That was a total lie. They should refund us the charges for 2nd night. The bathrooms were totally dark and we used our mobile phone lights.

Good value for money and good location if you have
Good value for money, good location providing you have a car. We found the hotel comfortable and very helpful staff. It has a nice swimming pool and as a nice touch it provides a ocurtesy car washing facility for guests use We had some great drives from here to the surrounding areas, particularly to the beaches small harbours and into the national park. As a tip take the train to Lisbon from Setubal, only 14 euro return for seniors, about 55minutes each way.and a spectacular view from the 3.5 km bridge into Lisbon. Would definetly stay here again.

Quiet with a nice pool
Like most ibis, clean quiet and with a very helpful staff. It has a nice pool and lawn area. It is on the edge of town fairest from the beaches but that doesn't really matter since the town isn't a tourist destination. It is very convenient to the highway into lisbon.

Good for summer
You always know what you are going to get when you choose Ibis, and that is why I like it. Simple, clean rooms, comfortable, and reliable. The hotel in Setúbal has a green courtyard with swimming pool, very appealing in the time we were there due to the 35ºC outside. Unfortunately everyone in the hotel thought the same and it was always packed.

✔ Very friendly, helpful staff - top marks to them! Just off main N10 road so easy to find. Clean and modern foyer. Large carpark. ✘ Dinner was not freshly cooked but a microwave meal (though they did tell us this when asked). Location a bit far out if you intend to visit Setubal but was fine for us. Overall: basic, standard Ibis chain hotel, so no big surprises but nothing to write home about either. Beds were comfy enough. Breakfast was 6€ extra but quite nice and eat as much as you want (breads, cheeses, meats, cereals, fruits, yoghurt & nice Portuguese cakes). Didn't find it noisy as someone else said.

This hotel is situated in the middle of a suburb. Prepare to be woken at random by the noise of barking dogs and morning lawn mowers at work. No true peace.
