"Room well proportioned with balcony. It was cleaned every day with fresh towels. The view over the beach was excellent. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was basic."

"My favorite part of this hotel was the view. We were fortunate to have a seaview room which had a balcony that we used nightly to wind down. The hotel allow lots of ways to enjoy the beautiful views - poolside and all restaurants. The room was spacious and clean with a seaview from all angles of the room - lloved it. The staff was most helpful when deciding on tour options and all questions we had. The meals where very good with the breakfast assortment being spectacular! The best I have ever experienced. We had the occasional dinner at the hotel which was lovely ($$$$). We also walked into the village and had wonderful meals there, as well. We treated ourselves to spa treatment with a couples massage. Of course this was heavenly! We enjoyed the location which allowed us to walk to beaches, village, tours and hike along the cliffs. We thought we would use a car more but it was parked the entire time we were there (at no charge). This 5 star hotel lives up to its stars. Would definitely recommend."

"Apart from a burnt-out overhead light in the bathroom, my room and experience were top-notch. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was superb, and the setting—right along the beachfront—could not have been any better. I highly recommend the Algarve Casino."

"Had an amazing stay at the Westin Salgados - the property was gorgeous, spotless, and perfectly located on one of the best beaches in the Algarve. We were there for the hotel’s 1 year anniversary and got to experience a complimentary yoga class and sound healing experience - it was awesome! Special shout out to Joao, the amazing server/bartender at the lobby bar who made our stay extra special. Highly recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Food was great as well!"

"Travelled with a 3 year old, would 100% return to this same location. The staff were amazing, kids were accepted everywhere (except the indoor heated pool sadly, although understandably cause it's a spa). The kids playground was wonderful with daily activities, engaged and kind care staff during the day. I didn't leave her with them unsupervised by a parent, but apparently you can. Loved the facility, our villa was perfect. Only thing that would make this better would be if the peacocks could be quiet at night, someone should let them know! Haha Wonderful experience, thank you for the amazing stay."
