"We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meals and pool time. The sunsets are stunning! The 3.5 hour drive on a curvy road is worth the it. Do some reading about the customs in Bali and the ability to get what you need. We found the Pepito store in Lovina had everything we wanted. Dini the. house manager was quick to respond to our questions with accurate answers. Iluh created the meals we asked for each day. Our driver Leung was so fun, he ate lunch with us in Lovina after a day of shopping. Massage therapists came to the house daily for wonderful treatments of massage. We looked for pool floaties in the nearby towns but didn't find anything until the last day. The pool is where we spent most of our time and an inflatable chair would have been perfect. Take one if you have the room in your luggage. Monek the Gardner kept the grounds clean and cut open coconuts for us to try the water inside. We walked to Bora Bora a few times & had great food, drink and conversation with the servers. The Pearl farm is a must! If ever an airport is created for the North side of the island, this place will be filled with tourists. "

Through WhatsApp, the team shares real-time updates on events, activities, weather, and local conditions—always proactive and reassuring. What stood out most was their care when we became sick. The team checked in constantly, offering tea, water, and anything we needed. They even arranged a doctor to come directly to our villa—professional, knowledgeable, and seamless. The property itself is stunning—lush jungle views, a serene pool, beautiful rooms, spa, gym, and unique funiculars with friendly operators always ready to help. But ultimately, it’s the people who make this place special. When we left, staff—including the manager—came out to wave goodbye. We weren’t ready to go. Sometimes, it’s the family you make along the way—and here, you truly find one."

"An all around great experience. We were there during the rainy season, so while we didn’t see a lot of sun, there was a lot to keep us happy: terrific food, especially the breakfasts, lovely staff, and loads of activities to keep us busy. Really recommend the trip to the waterfalls as well as the sustainability tour around the plantation. A perfect example of how well they take care of their guests was when we had to have our dehumidifier replaced because it wasn’t working. It was done very promptly and to make up for the inconvenience (and it really was hardly an inconvenience at all!) they gave us a voucher for both of us to have a full Balinese massage which was heavenly. Can’t recommend Munduk Moding Plantation enough. "
