"Overall, our favourite hotel in Bali despite the weather (unfortunately it was rainy season). The resort is amazing. The staff are very helpful. We stayed quite far from the front so the golf carts were available to help take us around. When you first walk into the room you're greeted by an amazing bathroom and coffee bar. I am just disappointed I was not able to try more of the coffee. Great coffee drinks provided at breakfast and afternoon tea. The onsite food was also good. We did not run out of things to do. The free plantation tour was nice along with our paid mountain bike tour to the waterfall. The activities program is extensive. We only stayed 2 nights this time but in the future we will try to stay for 3!"

"Beautiful, serene and far away from the hustle and bustle of Bali. Great communication by the owner Rolf and manager Dini. Our resident chef and housekeeper Iloha kept the house spick and span and her meals were delicious. Ground staff were lovely and friendly and the pool and beautiful grounds are kept pristine. The locals are friendly and you get a good opportunity to see the real/traditional Bali. These are the things we wish we’d known before going- the drive from Kuta has 2 routes. The shorter route is absolutely terrifying and I would not recommend it. The longer route (add 30 minutes) is by far less nerve racking. The villa is an end villa and one of 3, you are separated from the next villa by a hedge/garden border and you can hear and see your neighbors. It is not ‘secluded’ per say, however is in a secluded area. In saying that, the nearest Western supermarket/alcohol is in Lovina, do any shopping on your way to the villa. There is an ATM in Seritit. Bugs- lots of biting ants. repellent required. Air conditioning- only the bedrooms are air conditioned, the main living area has only fans and gets very warm. The pool is great however it got too hot to swim in by mid afternoon some days. Swimming in the sea-you need swim booties to swim safely. There are cats. I would implore anyone traveling to anywhere in Bali to take some pet food/ basic flea treatments etc.to help with the issues with the cats/dogs. Lastly, an absolute must is the wild dolphin trip- incredibly."

"I love this area, it’s much quieter and bland in with the local village and people. The cabins are great and the views are excellent. The only thing is that the cabins can get bit too hot, better ventilation or more sufficient fan would make lots of difference. The staff was without fault. Very happy overall."

"Words honestly cannot describe how absolutely wonderful this villa is. The pictures in the listing look fantastic and yet they don’t do it justice. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. We had thought we might do a little bit more in the surrounding area, but the villa is just so comfortable and so beautiful that we only left it once during our stay. And if you know spa treatments, you do not want to miss having the ladies from the spa come and provide all sorts of lovely, massages, facials, hair treatments, scrubs, etc. Every detail was attended. Our precious cook made delicious meals each day. She chatted with us to determine what we might like to eat and then went to the market each day. She always coordinated with us to make sure the timing of each meal fit with our preference and schedule. Our precious housekeeper, equally as helpful, made sure our rooms were well prepared day and night. And though not often seen, the gardener kept the grounds looking beautiful every day, and the security guard helped us feel very safe day and night. Though, the area seemed very safe with or without the security guard. And last, but not least, our driver was always accommodating, and got us to and from the airport as well as to Lovina to watch the dolphins. My biggest regret is that there are no more stars for me to give this villa. I believe it may be the best VRBO I have ever reserved in all my years of using them. "Amazing service, both the hotel and the seaside restaurant. The front desk seemed truly interested if we had a good time and welcomed us back. I do want to go back. Two small issues. Don't folow Google maps to get there. It takes you just to the eastern edge of the property, not the entrance. Second. The beds were kind of hard. But we had the garden rooms and they were spacious and the grounds are beautiful. "
