"A tasteful and beautiful decor lovely bathroom, balcony with fabulous views over to the sea and mountains. Leprechaun figures scattered around the hotel made me smile. Amazing breakfast, Maria a wonderful cook with different tasty treats every day. Had to get used to carrying it up 2 flights of stairs to my room but the tray was big. Room very clean. A Sunday treat of chicken pea soup in the afternoon was lovely."

"We loved Sifnos! It's an extremely charming island with beautiful villages, beaches, and an authentic Cycladic atmosphere. We stayed in Artenemos in Smaragdi Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, with excellent breakfasts each morning and a staff that was consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Its location was also very convenient, just steps from a bus stop. We highly recommend using the bus system to explore Sifnos. It was easy, reliable, and made it simple to get around the entire island without a car. Our Cycladic cave-style room was a highlight of the stay. We loved the unique design, along with the private patio and cool plunge pool, which were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, a fantastic stay on a truly special island."

Ammoa Beach Residences

"Beautiful beach and surrounding area. There is nothing around so you need to have a car or bring food with you. We had two breakfasts and two dinners at Coco Mat which were both excellent and reasonably priced (as much as you want for breakfast plus omelettes). They also gave us toothpaste as we had forgotten it at our previous stay, which sadly we couldn’t get from Ammoa when we asked. It seems the larger apartments are more true to the images they show you at Ammoa, and at a higher standard in terms of interior, but the 1 bedroom apartments are quite basic and a normal hotel room vibe. Small windows everywhere. Nothing special in terms of design. What is special is the beach and surrounding area. I don’t feel I had seen images of the actual flat they put us in, if I had I would’ve gone at a higher price point somewhere else. Clean and staff was nice. Some tourists with tents/parasols on the beach, but that is to be expected."

"A lovely hotel with very well maintained gardens. They do offer free of charge collection and delivery from the port(they have asked Hotels.com to say this in text many times but it still not advertised) which brilliant. Rooms are lovely and clean. Lovely soft towels and good quality bed linen. The beach is tight in front of the hotel. You can walk too the port along the beach and up some steps and takes about 15 minutes. Excellent beach bar. The staff are very helpful. A lovely hotel."
