Sequim Cabin Retreat
We had an amazing time during our recent stay in Sequim! The cabin location was perfect - close to town and all the sights and amenities. The rental was well stocked with everything we needed, making our stay convenient. The fenced yard was perfect for my dogs, and they had a blast exploring. The host, David, was responsive and so helpful and made sure we had a great experience. Plus, the wildlife viewing in the meadow outside the cabin was a wonderful bonus. Highly recommend this rental for a memorable stay in Sequim!

Quiet space in the woods
This home was a nice surprise! The east facing views were beautiful and the fenced yard great for our dog. Although the kitchen area is quite small, it was perfectly adequate for simple meal preparations with everything we needed.

Peaceful Setting
This property feels like you're in the country but it's only a few minutes drive to downtown Sequim. Clean, comfortable and quiet. It's the perfect base to explore the Olympic Peninsula. Fenced in area was a bonus for our dogs. I'd highly recommend.

The owners are very helpful and available - just up the road. We really didn't need anything. The house is well stocked, full pantry and soap, TP, lotion, etc. Plenty of towels, but light on hangars. Sheets are flannel. Washer and Dryer good, but really only warm/hot water in the washer. A/C upstairs good, not needed downstairs. Great, calm pasture view from large living area windows (one w/ broken seal needs to be replaced) and Deck w/ good BBQ. Great parking with carport maybe 3 spaces. Overall we liked staying there, though carpet is a bit musty - probably from having pets. Great place to bring your dogs - fenced yard and huge field!

A piece of heaven!
Very secluded spot with a calmness that spreads out from the home to the sky and fields and rolling hills; eagles and deer and small birds; room to breath in the fresh air and just relax.

Wonderful cabin in a peaceful neighborhood!
We stayed 5 nights at this wonderful cabin. Dave met us when we arrived and showed us around, and gave us some great ideas of things to do. The secluded cabin was perfect for our group of 4 adults and a dog. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck, playing games in the beautiful yard. The beds were comfortable (always good to know that in advance!), and the house was set up with just about everything we needed. We loved this place, and will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Sequim.

Just Beautiful!
Quiet and relaxing doesn’t really describe it. The house was super nice in a pastoral setting on the edge of a wonderful small town. This was a 5 star discovery and we’ll be back!

So peaceful. Away from the beaten path, but town is only a few minutes away. Dog loved roaming the fully fenced yard and we loved everything about the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home and great location.
This lovely home was a cozy, warm and welcoming place to come back to after our days of birding the Sequim area. The host couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. The house has many nice and unexpected attributes that added to the pleasure of the experience.

Very private yet close to everything
We really enjoyed staying at David's home. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we'd need. We loved that it was fully fenced for our dogs and that there was both open field and wooded areas for them to explore. We would stay here again.

Just what we were looking for
A lovely, quiet house with plenty of room for the family and a nice kitchen that met all our needs. We enjoyed being “snowed in” although it was very nice of the owner to plow the road for us. Proximity to Oak Table cafe a huge plus.

Amazing location, great house
My partner and I had a wonderful time. The location feels both close to town and somewhat remote at the same time. It was nice to see all the nature while still being only a 5 minute drive away from a grocery store. Definately plan on coming back.

Amazing location for relaxing
This location is an amazing place to just get away. Beautiful sunrises from the living room and bedrooms. They supplied everything we needed to cook a large meal. It was very clean and the host was extremely courteous and responsive. Overall, this is a great location to stay.

This house was beautifully furnished with comfortable beds. It had everything we needed if we had wished to cook. It is only a few minutes drive from the town. As an older person, at 75, I did have to be careful on the internal stairs. We would loved to have stayed longer. Thank you so much for a wonderful house .

Peaceful Easy Feeling
The Sanger-Sterling home is on the edge of a scenic meadow in rather thick woods without an adjacent neighbor in sight or sound. Yet, it is a 10 minute ride to downtown. The amenities are very good. It is a great location for all activities on the Olympic Peninsula. The hosts, David and Tanya, are exceptional. We just spent 6 weeks there and have reservations for next year.

Paradise Found
Cozy home with every amenity. Bed in the master was so cozy I wanted to take it home. The beautiful views of green fields and mountainside will sooth your soul. 5 minute drive into town, so close but far enough away. Tanya and David are wonderful hosts. They gave us great ideas for hiking and even gave us a tour of a private wonderland garden nearby. Tanya is a master gardener and has a wealth of knowledge to share. Both Tanya and David have the most kind and generous spirit. Visited during the the lavender festival and had an amazing week. Sequim is a hidden gem and this cozy home has everything you need to unwind and be at peace.

Sweet Getaway
David was a responsive, communicative host. Accommodations were great. The setting was safe and serene and city noise, non existent. Everything we needed was minutes away. Such a nice house! So cozy and quaint. So clean and beautiful! We took a trail around the property and saw some wildlife. A nice place in the country to relax and come home to for a few days. Amazingly beautiful and peaceful. Spent most of my time on the balcony, staring out at the meadow and the eagles. Only issue: jacuzzi tub unavailable one evening due to plumbing. David came over right away to fix. We would stay there again.

Another wonderful stay!
This our third stay on this beautiful property. We love the area and easy access to all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer. David and Tanya are outstanding, helpful and welcoming hosts. The home is clean, comfortable, well equipped and has an incredible fenced yard and view. It is close to town, yet very private and it feels like home. We plan on returning for another visit next year- it is our favorite PNW place to spend time!

We loved staying at this property and would absolutely stay again. The beds were very comfortable, it was very clean and well stocked for what we needed, and in a great location that’s close to town while also feeling very secluded and private. The yard was amazing for our dog, and our toddler loved it as well. David could not be nicer, and you can tell there is a lot of thought and love put in to this place! We would definitely suggest staying here if you are traveling to Sequim. Thanks again!

Relaxing weekend stay
The house was very nice and there was plenty of room for myself, my husband, two teenage daughters and our dog. It was so nice to have a fenced in area for the dog. The location was close enough to enjoy some nearby tourist activities but far enough away from other properties to feel comfortable and private. Thank you for your hospitality!

The best place for a quiet getaway with a dog in Sequim!
We needed a quick getaway and this place really fit for us. Clean. Spacious. Comfortable. Communication with the owner was perfect. Our two dogs were outside for the first half of the day. We sat on the deck and just watched them zooming back and forth. Fully fenced. If you have a digger or a jumper, you are not going to want to leave them out there without supervision. But ours are older and were just having fun rolling around in the grass and chasing each other back and forth. There are big picture windows and comfortable beds. The best part of taking two dogs was that there was a mudroom! We got to clean them up before allowing them into the home itself, which was perfect. There is a creek that runs into a pond. The pond is beyond the gate, so no worries there with dogs that want to swim. The pond is, we are sure, great for the visiting deer and elk, although this was not the season to see them there. I am sure that when things start to bloom the outside property is probably even more beautiful! There is a little wooded area that is fun to walk thru, too. There is a shovel and plenty of bags left to pick up after your pet, too. We had zero issues there. We definitely will be back again!

Lovely house!
This is a lovely house! Very clean with a wonderful backyard for the dogs. The house is very well stocked, with nice touches such as foil and plastic wrap for the guests to use. It is comfortable and warm. Great location for visiting the park, or nearby hikes, or shopping in Port Townsend. The host is warm and friendly. I highly recommend this house!

Outskirts of Sequim
The property was fine for the 3 of us, especially since we booked with relatively short notice. The house is about 5 mins from town so it is very conveniently located for exploring the area. Check in with host was easy. There was plenty of space for the 3 of us and our dog loved running outside in the fenced in area. Plenty of kitchen supplies, though we cooked very little. Upstairs had good sunlight but downstairs (where bedrooms were) was a bit dark. We noticed a slight odor (maybe grease vent) when walking up the stairs but the house was clean. The host was great and made himself available if we needed him, which we did not. We didn't see any animals but did hear the coyotes on several nights. Some of the furnishings could use some updating but they were adequate.

Beautiful setting
The most important thing to us (besides being able to bring our dog) is having a comfortable house. This house was so comfortable! And we loved the privacy and quiet. The kitchen was very well stocked. My husband brings his ATV to ride while we are there, and we appreciated the space we had for parking that as well.

Lovely cabin in a happy valley!
