Amazing room and space. Clean and good resort style. The free minibar despite attractive as part of oackage, it really is just 2 beers, 1 pepsi, and one pack of chocolate cookies.

This resort is great for family which has a water park and theme parks, perfectly for the kids. The swimming pool is well maintained and clean. my only disappointment is the missing of club lounge for the elite Bonvoy members.

This resort was absolutely beautiful, well maintained. Starting from when we started walking in to the hotel someone took our luggage right away to help us. The front desk staff was so friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was bigger than we thought, very clean and it had a great view. If you don’t want to leave your resort this is the place to go, because it has many choices for you to eat, not just the restaurant food if you are on a budget. It has stores (but high end) which it made it feel like you were in a mall so it was pretty neat. It also has water park that they give you a one time free pass but we were not able to use. I would definitely stay there again if I have the chance to go back to Jejù island. Five stars!

I love the the stuff, very helpful. Shopping is great. Kids can be loud, however, they only showed up the last day of our stay. Could try to book people with no kids in a separate floor if possible. We used whole day taxis service with hotel, they are excellent. I also love the theme park.

The room was smaller than the other rooms we stayed in during our stay in Jeju however was clean and relatively modern. The hotel also had access to a large range of facilities which occupied us for the length of our (short) stay.

My wife and I took a mini vacation rom South Korea to Jeju Island. Our stay at the Shinhwa Resort was great. The resort provided us with everything we needed. Although it is designed around families with children, adults can have just as much fun on the property.

Experience not 5 star hotel…
The hotel itself and all the staff were nice. It was June and the hotel was fully booked as reception desk said. But the breakfast facility on the 5th floor was so full and we needed to wait in line about 20-25 min every morning. When it was our turn to get in, we realized that there were many many tables which were not get cleaned. We guessed that they didn’t have enough staff who needed clean up the table since the hotel was fully booked. Under the circumstances with COVID, I was worried standing in line in the narrow alley 20 min every morning. So I asked the breakfast room manager if I could pick up the take-out box instead of waiting to enter and get a table 25min in line until I wait to get a table. And the manager said they don’t allow take-out box and need to wait in line if I want to have breakfast. It made me worried if I get COVID standing in line closely with people behind me. Also outdoor pool is closing at 7pm and all the people who had day activities and who checked in late got packed in the indoor pool. And it was not the winter season and I have no idea why they close the outdoor pool that early. From 7pm the indoor pool was getting really crowded with people since the hotel was fully booked and outdoor pool is closed at 7pm. It made us anxious and uncomfortable since it is COVID time and wish they open the outdoor pool until 9pm at least. We stayed other 5 star hotel in Jeju and they were opening the outdoor pool until 10pm.
The waiting line was long and going around the other side of corners
Measured the time and it takes 20-25min every 3 mornings
I can see that the hotel was full and the breakfast buffet were understaffed.

Once getting inside, it feels like you're in Seoul
The hotel complex consists of upscale hotels, an adventure park, an outdoor street lined with numerous restaurants, a pool, a waterpark, a casino, and fancy indoor alleys filled with high-end restaurants, bistros, and luxury coffee shops. You will not be bored even if you decide not to drive out. One thing missing is the TV did not have apps. Neither Google Cast nor Miracast was possible, which was odd.

A great example as a resort
As a part of honeymoon, this was a perfect value for money, activity-based stay. An easy access to the shops around and the swimming pool as well as the water park, not to mention the comfortable room that you look forward to going back, made things very relaxing. We just hope that the facilities conditions and services remain as is and not decay over time.

I am a hotels.com gold member since 2017, in four consecutive years, which means I stay at the hotel for more than 30 nights a year. As you may see, I have traveled around the world. Sometimes I have stayed in the hotels regarded best. I can say Marriott Jeju is one of the best because of its staff's hospitality. I sent the prior notice to the hotel that I am on honeymoon, and they tried their best to accommodate. The front staffs were extremely courteous and caring, including the professional manager Ian Kim who greeted me at the lobby around every noon during my stay. Marriott Jeju is a newly-built hotel with professional service people and amazing facilities.

Housekeeping was subpar
Housekeeping was a mess. One day they did not come. One day they left linens in the room. One day they did. not replenish the toilet paper or towels. The mini bar is free and should be restocked daily and that was not done until we complained to the front desk. Front desk was nice about it and gave my kid a stuffed character. I have never had housekeeping issues like this before.

very nice experienc
Room quality was very nice and amazing, but a parking lot outside of the property, so it is not convenient. the staffs are just providing right services not quit make you exceptionally welcomed. one more thing, the Gym was so small compared to other facilities in this hotel.

Friendly, excellent service, starting from check in. When they knew we have 7 rooms booked for our family and celebrating our parent’s 50th wedding anniversary, they made sure our rooms are all close to one another and also prepared a complimentary bottle of wine and fruits for us to celebrate. Hotel Is quite new, rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with high tech toilet. Stayed only 2 days but enjoyed the in room dining, indoor and outdoor pool, and Bowling. Great hotel to stay if traveling with family and kids.
