"The resort is absolutely fantastic. The staff will do anything to ensure you have a good stay. The free activities are incredible. Make sure you try yoga with the incredibly skilled Wayan and the walks with the activities coordinator are well worth it to see parts of the area you would not have seen. I had a 2 hour massage and scrub experience with Riki which was absolutely incredible and so reasonably priced. I recommend the spa !The only problem at the moment is what staff call ‘the conservation project’ which is in fact heavy machinery on the beach moving rocks to build a rock wall. They work from 8am to 9:30pm at night. I don’t doubt it is essential work but I would stay there once it is finished (this year according to staff) or just make sure you select your room carefully. I had to change rooms and the staff were empathetic and responsive to my concerns. The trouble is the construction moved to underneath my balcony on my last morning making the balcony unusuable. Besides this I would highly recommend Candi Beach Resort. "

"This is a fantastic experience, especially if visiting with children. We had a one-night stay in the Mara Safari Hotel, which was a stopover before moving onto Sanur. Unfortunately the rooms are incredibly tired and would benefit from a major refurbishment / freshen up. The food at the restaurant was great; however when it came to ordering dessert, almost all options were not available despite the hotel being very quiet. This was disappointing."

"What you see online is what you get in person. It was a beautiful room and property. Staff is very friendly and accommodating (they do struggle a bit speaking English, but they get their job done). It was a bonus that there is a full gym and lap pool that we had entirely to ourselves when we were there!"

"The view and restaurant is indeed lovely and breakfast was good. Unfortunately the resort is not suitable for anyone who isn't completely mobile or elderly.  The numerous stairs, especially without any hand railings made it a struggle and unsafe.  This includes the lower pool, where there is no railing to get out of the pool. I had also expected that the resort/my room would be in the beach.  This isn't the case.  While I had an ocean view, it was obstructed, and getting to the beach required a walk back to the pool, then down the stairs.  Rather disappointing as the photos show something else. And be aware that the stairs going to the bathroom at night are somewhat inconvenient. It's a 3 star hotel, so that's what you're paying for, even despite getting the deluxe ocean view cabin."

"This is a very quiet, under-the-radar resort located in a peaceful part of Bali. It’s definitely not the place if you’re looking for noise or a lively atmosphere, but if you want genuine relaxation and tranquility, this is a great choice. Special thanks to Chris and his team who made an extra effort to ensure our stay was comfortable. They went above and beyond to meet our needs. The resort has a huge swimming pool which was a highlight for us. There is a restaurant on-site, though dining options within the hotel are limited. That said, there are a few good local restaurants nearby so you still have some nice choices. One downside is that parts of the property feel a little dated but considering the age of the hotel, it’s not too bad. It would also be nice to see more activities especially for kids to make it more family-friendly."
