Welcome to the website for the "Wolkenstein" holiday rental in the Lusatian Lake District.

This modern, 155 m² holiday apartment, located in the city centre and spread over two floors, can accommodate up to 9 guests (8 adults + one toddler up to approx. 2 years old) without the need for extra beds and, if desired, is also available for longer stays.

On the lower level of the apartment, spanning 83 m², you’ll find a spacious entryway with plenty of built-in closets for daily clothing, as well as two spacious, individually lockable bedrooms, each equipped with a TV. Another small bedroom is adjacent to one of the main bedrooms. An additional living area in an open-concept layout (studio) with a desk, seating area, and play corner complements the quiet and private zones. A very spacious bathroom area featuring two sinks, a whirlpool designed for two guests, and an additional shower—along with a large wall-mounted heater that keeps towels warm—is designed to provide our guests with a pleasant atmosphere here as well.

The upper, air-conditioned apartment area, spanning 72 square metres, invites you to linger in a large, open, and bright living space featuring separate dining, relaxation, and seating areas, including a beautiful traditional fireplace, a TV with internet access, and a rocking chair for reading books from our small library. The kitchen, which adjoins the living area, complements the ambiance in a very subtle way. Our guests enjoy the view of the city and the surrounding countryside.

We have also provided secure parking. Your vehicle, as well as bicycles, for example, can be parked directly in the private car park on the property.

The city centre is a 5-minute walk from our property, and the city harbour and beach are another 5 minutes away. To explore the surrounding area, all standard regional transport options—including train, taxi, and bus (all within a 5-minute walk)—are readily available. In the immediate vicinity, there is also a bike rental service as another option for exploring the region’s very well-developed bike paths. The immediate local infrastructure within a 300-meter radius offers you plenty of options right at your doorstep, including two supermarkets, a café and pastry shop, a hair salon, a pharmacy, a video rental store, speciality shops, a playground, a theatre, a snack bar, a bowling centre, and restaurants.

The city and the Lusatia region, as a constantly evolving tourist destination, significantly expand the range of activities available to you. We’ve already prepared extensive resources for you here for both sunny days and those less-than-ideal days when the weather isn’t so great, and we’d be happy to assist you with our experience and the occasional tip.

In addition to standard amenities, the property owners will provide you with the following additional furnishings or services during your stay:
