Convenient location, close to Clis Road shopping district and Sendai station and all the restaurants and bars in the area. Hotel has great features, including free laundry facilities and a relaxation room with massage chairs. The cold packs were also very welcome in the summer heat!
Note: the hot springs at the hotel are for men only, however there is another branch of the hotel nearby with women's bathing facilities
The hotel is located right next to a subway station "Hirose-Dori" and a bus stop, and near a train station. It is on a main street and very safe at night. Many restaurants and shops are within a walking distance. The hotel has its own hot spring, but only for males!!! Females can use the one in nearby sister hotels. People at the front and cleaning people were always very friendly and kind. Only one thing was that the mattress was too firm to me, but it might be good for backbone.
I think it's meant more for business travelers but my wife, two teenagers, and myself were perfectly comfortable. They staff spoke limited English but that should be expected when you get further away from Tokyo/Kyoto.
Location is good but facilities are so old and not clean at all.

Basic business hotel, but amenities such as usb charging and better lighting would be better. Free coin laundry. Handy location.

The staff was accommodating when I came early before check-in time. They allowed me to hold onto my belongings and offered me the option to do all the check-in paperwork.
My only issue was the shower head was twisted so you have to hold it if you want to take a shower so that was inconvenient and the drainage was poor so I was often in a pool of water which wasn’t very pleasant. I also would have preferred to have a full body mirror considering I was there for a business trip.
Other than that, the service was great and they were very flexible. I was able to easily
borrow an iron and an extra blanket to keep me warm. They also called for afternoon cleaning and I cancelled initially but re-scheduled one easily after realizing I wanted a clean room for when I got back.

The room was just what we needed. As we have a larger vehicle(van) we were not able to use the parking garage for free parking. The breakfast is wonderful and I look forward to another visit.

Disappointed
The staff was phenomenal and always went above and beyond to help. The cleanliness of the room was a bit surprising. The trash bin was half full and we found a peanut on the night stand which was frightening as my son is allergic. I booked a non smoking room however it smelled of smoke.
They got bottled milk in their vending machine after you come out from the public bathroom

Business trip to my Alma-mater
Price/quality ration is not interesting at all. Free noodles in the night is interesting. Room very very small , could not keep my luggage open due to very tight space.
It's a little bit far from Sendai station, but other than that everything was good. Staff were friendly, check-in was fast, room was clean and comfortable.

thank you
well appointed hotel at a reasonable price and perfectly placed for me - between the reailway station and the university ... and on the bus route to where my friends and colleagues live
a free sento is just the iceing on the cake !
Free dinner and evening snack was good quality. This hotel only had a men only bath, however two of its sister hotels within 2 blocks have baths for both genders (separated). Bath is small-ish but comfortable.

No public bath for women
Clean and comfortable enough. However they advertise that they have a public bath but when we checked in we were told that it's only for men. Fifty percent of our party was excluded from use.
1. The wifi is so bad that we gave up using as it kept dropping off every minute.
2. The room was supposed to be non smoking but the smoking stench of previous occupant linger. We have to use the hotel shoe sanitiser to freshen up the entire room.
3. The bed was so small & uncomfortable.
4. The TV is situated so hopelessly that we were not able to watch from the bed which was the only option.
5. Because of the above disappointments, we were not motivated to use their free 'onsen'.
The room was the perfect size for one individual. I didn't spend too much time in the room because I was out enjoying the local area most of the time. The hotel has an onsen in it which was a present surprise. All in all, it was a nice room and fulfilled its purpose as a place to sleep and shower
I stayed one night for attending a dinner party in Kokubuncho area. It will be 10-15 minutes walk from Sendai station, 5 minutes to Kokubuncho. The room was clean. The bathroom was smaller than average Japanese business hotel, probably because they have public bath, although it is for male only. The room I stayed had no large mirror and no place to hang long coats or dresses. If you have girls in the group, be aware.
Pros:
-Cost per night
-Location (center of Sendai)
-Breakfast
-Availabilty
Neutral
-Room size
Cons
-Pillows/Bed were rough. Felt like sleeping on garbage bags filled with sand.
-Room lighting. Front door has auto lights that can not stay on or off.
Wonderul hotel with friendly staff. Excellent service and the breakfast was pretty good. The only thing was the ladies Onsen is in another building down the street which I can't remember reading about beforehand.
Small rooms but communal bath for relaxing soak. Also, has all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast. Good location right near a subway station. Convenience stores nearby as well as pedestrian only, covered shopping arcades (formerly streets). Easy access to Sendai station. Safe neighborhood. Comfortable hotel, easy public transportation access. Adequate for sleeping and bathing.
This hotel is in a nice location, great for a short stay and reasonably priced.
There is an onset available for free, which I recommend, even though I didn't
have time to use it this trip.
There were 4 of us and the room was large. Separate tatami room sleeps two with separate TV and shoji doors to separate from other sleeping area. Toilet and bath room were separate rooms with Japanese style bath. Loved the massage. Chair in the room, everyone used it.
We couldn't be happier about our stay. The location was convenient, the hotel was clean and spacious, and the breakfast buffet was delicious with a huge variety. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Sendai next time.
Convenient location. Close taxi ride from Sendai Station. Walking to shops and food. Convenient breakfast and evening noodles. Staff very courteous and accommodations very comfortable.

Stayed for three nights. Was a good mix of Japanese and Western accommodation with a tatami room and a lovely Japanese breakfast available in their café. Staff were friendly and helpful.
