At the heart of Seminary, MS you can enjoy an exclusive view of one of the largest waterfalls on the river. Located on the banks of the Okatoma River this cabin boast views of the most popular river in MS. You will enjoy two spacious bedrooms and a huge loft that can sleep 4. Central air/heat with an optional wood stove for that true cabin experience! Washer and Dryer available. Spacious front porch with rocking chairs and a swing that overlooks the waterfall. Activities include walking trails, swimming, fishing.

Pet fee covers maximum of 2 pets. Additional pets are an additional $20 per pet. Early check in or late check out are an additional $50.00

Another Okatoma Family Fun Weekend

This was our third summer family gathering at Fairchild Landing, and it was great again! The water was up a bit, but that didn’t spoil the fun. The place is super clean and has a great firepit for s’mores! It’s also close enough to Hattiesburg for a run to The Lucky Rabbit. We shall return!

Family Thanksgiving holiday

This place is a wonderful place to enjoy nature. Sitting on the porch in the swing listening to the water fall is heaven. We enjoyed seeing deer and turkeys as we were driving up the driveway.Family enjoyed the walking trails.

Great Place!

Great place with a beautiful view! Easy access to hiking through the woods and to the water. Nice floor plan, well equipped kitchen, nicely furnished, great wifi & TV options. We'll definitely stay there again.

Sisters Trip

Very nice, secluded. Beautiful setting! Loved the sound of the waterfall from the deck/porch. It was the perfect place for us to unwind, relax and go shopping in near by laurel and Hattiesburg! Would definitely stay here again!

Great spot

This house is beautiful, clean and comfortable with the most amazing view of the river. There is wonderful woods with trails to explore. My puppy loved the walks in the woods. We will most definitely rent again in the summer. Thank you for a wonderful birthday weekend.

Family River Fun

Repeat As Good As First Visit

Our family returned for a quick summer getaway. It was a perfect time for us to gather from the different areas in the south where we live and enjoy each other’s company. The cabin is spacious and clean. It’s really close to Hattiesburg, too. What a great swim hole to top it all off!

Peaceful retreat

Property was clean, and well stocked. We were in town for our sons wedding and this was a beautiful and peaceful place for us to stay with all the stress that comes with a wedding! We had family from all over meet us here and we were able to spend quality time and make memories as a family!

We were very impressed with the cabin and its proximity to the last waterfall at okatoma creek. As we have brought our children to this creek for the better part of 20 years, all four of our grown kids were more excited to come here to relive a lot of childhood memories. My stay at the cabin near Okatoma Creek was truly rejuvenating. The sound of the nearby waterfall was soothing and added to the serene atmosphere. Perfectly Relaxing Happy Place

The property was a perfect place to get away, clear our heads and just enjoy the family. The waterfall rushing in the background was so relaxing. Trails around the property were great for exploring the outdoors. The fire pit was perfect for our nightly fires and smores. The cabin itself was wonderful with rustic decor but very clean and comfortable for a group. Everyone enjoyed the trip and we all hope to go back again one day soon.

Perfect Getaway

We had the pleasure of ringing in the new year at the cabin and our week has been so relaxing. This is the perfect place to unwind and take a break from "real life." The creek was roaring when we arrived, following last week's storms, and it was neat to see it slow over the next few days and bubble at the rocks on the falls. The owners (along with contributions from previous guests) ensure that you have everything you need, sans food, for a comfortable stay. We will absolutely be back in the future!

Excellent getaway

The location is perfect. Tucked away in the woods by the river. Beautiful woods and trails to hike down and a super clean spring fed creek that’s only ankle deep to keep the young ones busy. We caught several catfish and had a blast everyday. Great spot to get away from a busy world. Cabin is nice with great views. Host was very responsive and nice. Highly recommend and plan on going back to relax again.

Thanksgiving weekend

We enjoyed a delightful Thanksgiving at the river front cabin - with a waterfall right off the porch. Family, friends and pets. When we couldn’t eat anymore we hiked thru the woods, played games and watched football. Lovely weekend.

Best spot on the Okatoma

Location is everything!! Perfect spot to chill in the water and watch all the Kayakers come over the last waterfall! We enjoyed the cabin had plenty of room. Enjoyed cooking inside and grilling outside hanging out on the porch and listening to all the nature sounds! Spent Saturday on the water.. nice spot to take your chairs and beverages and just “ watch” when it get hot you can take a dip in the deeper water! We want to definitely come back!

The absolute best weekend getaway!!

We booked last minute when we found this gem available for the weekend. The weather was so perfect, you would have thought I ordered it. The kids floated in the water and played in the waterfall. I spend majority of the day watching kayakers flip. I laughed and laughed. It was good for the soul!! Can’t wait to book again.

Amazing!! WOW!

This home and property is Beautiful and peaceful. My 83 yr old father and i booked it as it is near family we flew in to visit. WOW! Granddaughter loved the loft but I Would have stayed in that king sized bed forever! It was like sleeping on a cloud of comfort for my tired body! The house had everything we wanted or needed and we were able to relax and celebrate a few birthday on the deck and fireside. Be prepared for the stairs... other than that ENJOY!

We needed this!

This was an absolutely wonderful cabin. A few of our favorite things: (1) The PRIVACY. We loved the fact that it was gated, far back, and secluded from other properties. (2) The BEAUTY. It was a lovely home, and the surrounding property was very relaxing. We loved just sitting on the porch and listening to the rushing water. (3) The WATER and private beach area. Okay, so it wasn't always private because of the kayakers coming through during the day, but we enjoyed swimming, tubing over the falls, fishing, and watching the kayakers come down the falls.
