HAUS HOLSTEIN is located in a quiet yet central part of the Baltic Sea resort town of Sellin. It was built to a high standard in the traditional seaside resort architectural style on a lot of approximately 1,237 square metres and was brought up to top condition in 2014 through painting and landscaping work. The front section of the building houses a dental practice and a general practice. It is only about 250 metres to the Baltic Sea beach and the Sellin pier with its cliffs. Bakeries are a two-minute walk (approx. 40–50 m) away. Bicycle rentals are available in the immediate vicinity. The indoor and outdoor recreational swimming pools are always open, whether in summer or winter, and also feature a sauna area worth seeing that invites you to linger at any time. From here, you can explore the Mönchgut Peninsula—with its kilometers-long sandy beaches, charming headlands, hidden coves, and idyllic fishing villages—on foot or by bike. A holiday that begins the moment you arrive—and the true essence of what’s described here—can only be experienced and truly appreciated in person.<br><br><br><br>Haus Holstein, Apartment 11 with balcony:<br><br>This 3-room, non-smoking apartment on the 1st floor of “Haus Holstein” is located next to the expanded spa park, right on Friedensberg, offering an excellent quality of living and approximately 74 square metres of living space. The spacious entryway is equipped with a coat rack, a shoe cabinet, and a small bench. The 11 m² covered balcony (south-facing), furnished with chairs, is accessible from the living area. The apartment, which is equipped to accommodate 2 to a maximum of 5 adults, consists of a living area with a couch (which converts into a bed for two people, 1.60 m x 2.00 m) with a solid wood coffee table, a floor lamp, a display cabinet, a small desk, and a sideboard. The living area also features a smart TV, a Blu-ray player, a mini stereo system with Bluetooth and an USB port, and internet/Wi-Fi. Internet access (Wi-Fi) is included for you. The spacious dining area features a modern table and six matching chairs. The separate kitchen is equipped with a built-in kitchen unit, consisting of a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, an oven with a 4-zone induction cooktop, an exhaust hood, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, an egg cooker, a hand mixer, an electric kettle, and many small kitchen utensils. The bedroom features a double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m) with a comfort height of over 60 cm, reversible cold-foam mattresses (H2/H3), two nightstand shelves, and a large wardrobe with a mirror. The small bedroom, which you enter from the first bedroom, features a comfortable two-person sofa bed (1.00 m x 2.00 m, H2/H3), as well as two drawers and a chest of drawers. The en suite bathroom is equipped with a sink area featuring an illuminated mirror, a walk-in shower, a hair dryer, a toilet, and a heated towel rack. In the storage room, you’ll find handy items such as a vacuum cleaner, an iron with an ironing board, and a clothes drying rack for the balcony. All rooms in the apartment are tiled and each has an insect screen. A travel cot (with an extra mattress) is available for our younger guests. Pets are not allowed. A covered parking space (No. 11, max. height 2 m) is located directly beneath the building. A coin-operated washing machine and dryer are available in the communal basement. Bicycle storage is available. You can book an initial linen package (complete set of bed linens, 1 shower towel, 1 small hand towel) for an additional fee up to 14 days before arrival, or bring your own to supplement it.
