Coming from the U.S., I wasn’t sure what to expect upon arriving. The Grace Garden hotel exceeded all my expectations with the most accommodating staff I have ever experienced. First, it’s in a great location, close to the mall, with decent roads. The hotel exterior is really gorgeous and well maintained. Everything was clean and many staff on site to help. Check in was simple and convenient. The rooms were clean and well stocked with toiletries, coffee, tea, and a refrigerator. We had 3 rooms, and one of the bathrooms was dirty. The bed was large and very comfortable with soft bedding. The air conditioning was in great working condition. Anytime my family needed something, we were promptly attended to by the great staff which resembled something of a 5 star hotel in the states. The robes and slippers were also a wonderful added bonus. The pool was very clean. We did have to wait about 40 minutes for the food, but I believe that is because everything is made fresh to order. The breakfast was hot and plentiful, but a little hard to please American children’s tastebuds. All in all, I would definitely return to Grace Garden when in Takoradi again.

I like the property. Customer service was ok, food services was not too good. What we ask for on food we didn't get, yet they charge me, didn't bother to tell me there were out or didn't offer to give me part of my money or offer anything to replace it. Breakfast, Whatever they suggest they have and we asked for, we got to our table we were told they were out.food wasn't so good.
