"Excellent boutique hotel.
It was beautiful inside and very intimate. The little cafe was cozy and had snacks all day long plus coffee and tea. There is a private onsen and little garden. I sadly missed the breakfast that they offered to us as i was so tired and comfy in the bed i had trouble getting up. The room was beautiful with great amenities and drinks for you. It was spotlessly cleaned. The manager was very friendly and quick to respond to messages. It is the type of place I personally...

"I have stayed in many very good hotels but this was possibly the best Hotel that I have stayed in, although the outside of the building is rather bland compared to say the Mandarin Oriental, or the Old Cataract in Aswan, the inside is perfect along with wonderful staff and service, plus for a Japanese hotel the rooms are very big, highly recommended."

"Staffs were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hotel is walking distance to Gifu station and the bus terminal.
But I have to say this is the first Dormy Inn that is suboptimal on the cleanliness. Room floor was dusty, shower room is mouldy, room window has webs. "

"Came back a second night. Since we were still in the area another night. The new front staff were good. Bedding room and bathroom were all clean.
Room was still what I would call old/dated but well kept. Just not the carpet. Carpet was well stained, old and thread bare in places."

"Our family of four had a wonderful 2-night stay. The staff are exceptionally helpful and the rooms are very clean. We especially loved the lobby areaโit's very spacious and kept our two young kids entertained for over an hour with board games and origami! The Japanese breakfast is also a must-try; it's delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely be back!"
