About this property

Restoration Retreat with Pool and Hot Tub!

  • Our restoration cottage is next to the main house. It is Two-bedroom, one full bath, full kitchen and living spaces. There is a Hot tub for winter guests and a pool for summer guests. There is a pool table in the main space and lounge chairs to relax around the pool. There is a fire pit outside and playground by the pool. Around the back of the house there are beautiful views of the rolling hills countryside. We are just a short walk from the river. There are many quaint restaurant's, parks, and nearby river access points. New Braunfels and San Marcos are not too far away either! Spend this time getting refreshed and make it a time to remember!

Great Stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much! This property is in great location and is very relaxing. The beds are super comfortable. The grandkids loved the swimming pool and playground. Would definitely would stay here again.

Amazing stay!!

This place was everything we needed and more! The owners live in the house next door and were available but also stayed away to give us some privacy. The pool was perfect and everything was as described. We would definitely love to stay here again and we highly recommend this place for anyone looking for somewhere in Seguin!

Wonderful stay

The house is spacious and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were a welcome sight after long days. Kitchen was spacious with all the necessary amenities. Large bathroom, bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Property, Fantastic Vacation

The property surprised me in being larger than anticipated. The entertainment room was huge and spacious with a nice kitchen area. The pool was clean and ready to swim, absolutely will stay again if we visit San Antonio again.

We enjoyed the stay. The location is close to downtown where there is plenty to do. From food to farmers market you are just minutes away. I do recommend this location for everyone.

The pool house is nice 2 bedrooms perfect! loved the pool and shot a lot of pool recommend take out the stereo system that was not working loved our stay and owners quickly respond to ur needs! Def stay here again

A place for family relaxation.

Clean, spacious, private, quiet and accessible. The pool and pool table provided hours of entertainment. We appreciated the helpful attitude of the owners when we had to change the dates due to circumstances out of our control.

Enjoyable

The property in Seguin (Restoration Retreat) is spacious and has nice amenities like the pool/spa as well as a rec room where the family can play pool, watch TV/movies, and eat together. Communication with the property manager/owner was prompt and friendly. Would gladly return when we're in need of a break!

Lovely Stay

What a great little guesthouse! Although it was just me and my dog during this stay, this property would be really great for a small family or 2-3 couples. Very spacious and clean. I do wish more basics were provided (hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, small washclothes) but overall I was very pleased with my stay. I visited in November so I didn't end up using the pool, but my dog really enjoyed the large, completely fenced, backyard :)

Relaxing Experience

The reviews said that the property had sheer curtains with no privacy. We asked the host if we could use the sun shade. He replied yes. We had privacy the whole trip. Very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. Over all we would stay here again.

Fun Girls Weekend in Seguin TX

My two college best friends and I had a great time! Our host was wonderful, the location is convenient and a short drive to a lot of amazing restaurants and fun bars around the Seguin area, the hot tub was relaxing that evening in the chilly weather, and the house was very clean and comfortable! We will be back next year! Thank you!

Cute stay

My party stayed for two nights and it was decent . My biggest issue with the property was the yard was not very well taken care of. The grass was very high and I had two smaller dogs so I was very nervous when they were outside. other then that the place was very good for what we needed and the pool table and outdoor pool were a nice touch. The host had excellent communication and we're friendly !

Hidden Gem

Loved the quiet neighborhood and privacy fence. Pool was great as was hot tub. Beds are full size but very comfortable. The open concept of living room and kitchen created a loud noise level but LOVED the indoor pool table. Kitchen is roomie and has the basic items needed. Shower pressure is amazing but do watch the hot water - it does get HOT, so be sure to check before getting. Driveway parking for one vehicle, would ask about additional parking if more than one vehicle is coming.

Quick weekend getaway

Property was overall clean, comfortable and conveniently located near all of the hill counrty fun. Only down side I would say is that the house is not "stocked". Meaning if you forget anything for the bathroom or need a pair of scissor you are out of luck as there are no "left over" items in the house you can borrow. Plus side the queen beds have great mattress!! My husband is a tall guy and I didnt roll towards him once in the middle of the night, great sleep for sure.

Overall nice place in safe and quite neighborhood.

The location was as advertised. If you know Seguin there are neighborhoods which dont seem as being safe. This neighborhood seemed very safe. Overall the house was clean and had the amenities as advertised. My only complaint would be the controls for the TV were difficult to figure out and could not find the on/off switch for the hot tub. The host did provide a phone number, however we chose not to call in either case. I am sure they would of been happy to assist us if asked. If or when visiting Seguin again I would look to see if this location was available and try to reserve.

Just Ok

It was ok not as cute in person as pictures make it to be. The owner was super nice and responded quickly to assist with the tv. No wifi though whic was not good considering business trip. Needs new living room furniture ASAP. The beds were comfortable though which is important. Loved that it had ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Didn’t like the walk to the backyard was through the yard no sidewalk, but was allowed to park in the owner's driveway. The washer didn’t work and only provided large towels, not small bath towels. Was missing those small details I’m used to at other places, wine glasses, bottle openers, blinds or curtains on all the windows, trash bags in the bathroom, etc.

Did NOT meet our needs.

The size of house was good. The pool/hot tube access was great. Unfortunately we had to buy blankets for our children. Not great when you fly in from PDX. I wish this rental had more towels they only had 5. My son had to sleep on couch. I would have liked to know this place isn’t family of 6 friendly. My one son slept on floor in closet. My daughter slept on floor in other closet.Coffee mugs were limited-they supplied 2. No shower rug to step on after shower. Floor was slippery when wet. Privacy curtains would have been great for all windows. There was no broom and dust pan for sweeping. Having access to washer and dryer would have been great. But note on machines said for extended renters only. I wish it had been better supplied. For example scissors, more mugs, an outside light from car to gate would have been handy. Appropriate amount of towels. Washcloths. A sigh for renters to know where to go. Thankfully the owners live on same property and they were home to let us know where to go. The numbers in the guest book need to be up-dated. We made due with what we had. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a family of 6.
