"The breakfast buffet was varied and beyond the usual 4 item continental type. Eggs and bacon in a warming dish, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit. There were toastable ham and cheese sandwiches and hot and room temperature pastries and cakes. And of course a coffee bar with a gifted barista. "

"This property has everything you need , the staff are all kind and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and have all you require. We were sad to leave. The on site parking was safe and secure. A walk uphill and you are in the old town with a map and walking tour supplied by the Hotel. The breakfast was generous and tasty with helpful staff present. "A once in a lifetime experience to stay in the gloriousky restored riooms of the Albergo Diffuso set in the amazing project that is San Stefano ehich hss breathed life back into a deserted village. Wonderful mountain counteyside all around. And some goof foid in thr restaurants too!"

"Unique and wonderful! We stayed here because we wanted to see the flower fields near Casteluccio. We drove up from Rome in about 4 hours through beautiful mountains. This castle (a former defensive fortification) was a breathtaking sight at the end of the drive. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Francesco and his sister Lara. Our baggage was taken up the stairs via an amazing custom monorail. The room was comfortable and cool, the linens were excellent quality, our sleep was refreshing, and breakfast healthy and satisfying. They feature delicious bottled juices. Francesco gave us a tour of the fascinating historical interior rooms including the winemaking room with the grape stomping vats! I highly recommend Castle di Luco, we will treasure our stay here forever! "

"Everything very good uphill walk to Centro but very nice restaurants and lots sights to see. Nice town. Parking easy which is great. Adjoining restaurant was awesome. Sergio looked after us. Fantastic pasta and focaccia appy. Amazing steak of the highest quality. This restaurant was highlight of the hotel stay. All else good. We would stay again. I carefully read reviews and make decisions based on them. This place is worth booking. "
