The family apartment (ground floor, 70 m²) is located in a quiet area with a large garden and pastures (2 horses on the property) in the centre of Truchtlaching. That’s why you’ll enjoy the convenience of nearby amenities such as: For example: EDEKA, a bakery, a butcher shop, a traditional Bavarian restaurant right on the Alz with a terrace, a pizzeria, a beer hall, and a restaurant, as well as the Alzbad. All of these can be reached quickly and easily on foot in just about 100-200 m. You won’t need a car here—Truchtlaching is nestled in the beautiful “Alztal” landscape reserve. Whether you want to enjoy peace and nature or active tourism and leisure on the water or in the mountains, this is the place to be. You’ll spend your holiday in Germany’s most beautiful landscape, on the edge of the Alps between Lake Chiemsee and the Alz River. The Alz flows right through Truchtlaching—just 200 metres from us. Not only is there an outdoor swimming pool here on the riverbank with a grassy area (free admission), but also a typical Bavarian pub (recently renovated) with a lovely beer garden in the shade of chestnut trees. Another of the town’s attractions (just a few minutes away from us) is our brewery, “Camba Bavaria.” Try up to 30 different types of beer while sitting in the cosy dining room overlooking the brewing kettle (or on the terrace overlooking the Alz). At the Camba Verkaufsladl, you can buy a wide variety of beers and popular souvenirs, such as beer mugs, Tragerl, T-shirts, gift baskets, and more. Want to try different types of beer? Lake Chiemsee is very easy to reach by bike (there’s a paved path along the shore all the way around) or by car, as it’s only 3.5 km away from us. Here, on the north side, you also have a wonderful view of the Bavarian Alps. Sailing, surfing, paddleboarding, and much more are best enjoyed on Lake Chiemsee. There are also excellent opportunities to stop at various cafés, restaurants, and pizzerias, most of which are right on the shore. But a trip to the Eggstätter See Nature Reserve—with more than 10 idyllic lakes, just a few kilometres away from us—is definitely worth it.
