Decent budget Gasthof in the centre of Seefeld. Small and functional no-frills rooms, but fresh linen every day, a good breakfast, and very friendly staff. Can also recommend the restaurant for an evening meal.

Great location. The parking is not close to the hotel- we had to drive to the parking and it was full, so they directed us to another parking area- an open area, a 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. There was no body wash/ shampoo in the shower. The shower was claustrophobic. The elevator took us to the 2nd floor, but then we realized we have another 5-6 stairs to clime with all the luggage. No A/C so we needed to open the window for air, but it was noisy outside. They scanned my passport which is something that no other hotel did and I really didn't like it.

Dear Mr. Michal, thank you for your review and the time you have spended to do so. We are always happy to note constructive critisism, because it helps us to emprove our service and offer. We want to mentioned some things about our house. We are a small "Austrian Gasthof" and do not have a full service like a 3-star hotel. You are right, there is no air condition or shampoo-facilities in the room. Due to the location directly in the center it is noisier than in other parts of Seefeld. We have some larger rooms in our house also at the first oder second floor - also with balcony without street-side. If available we can also change into another category (for a litte extra charge) We also help with the luggage. All this service can be asked at the reception. We are happy to help. We have to register every guest in our hotel and need a copy of your passports for the registration. (Austrian hotel regulations) Of course we are very sensitive with this kind of documents and they will be distroyed properly after your stay. We are sorry, that you were not able to enjoy your stay as expected. We would be very pleased to welcome you maybe another time to convince you from our service. With best regardsGasthof Batzenhäusl

The room was big and clean. The area is beautiful and convenient to shopping and dining. Just wish there was a microwave and a small fridge in the room.

Great hotel, great food, friendly staff. But lacked basic things eg tea/coffee making facilities in room, no information pack re wifi, emergency numbers, no complementary shower gels, shampoo etc Room was comfortable but not as advertised, looked a little tired.

They informed me that the reception is open only until 20.00. I wrote them that I will be arriving just around that time and they did not reply, so I was worried. Anyway I arrived earlier than that so I had no problems. Still a better communication would have been great. No parking. There's a toll parking in front of it or free parking (until 8.00 in the morning) 7-10 minutes walk away. But in general it was fine. Clean, quiet.

Nice place - great price
A little hard to find, but super nice people and excellent food in the restaurants. Room was kind of bare minimum, but okay for just sleeping. Very nice setting and the town offers every posdible tjinkable attraction from lake to Golfcourse

Labor Day Trip
Great location if you are looking for a place to hike or ride bikes during the summer, there are many ski lifts nearby for winter fun. the restaurant has great food and service was excellent. They stayed very busy so expect some wait time but use that time to enjoy the local beer. There is also an Olympic size indoor pool nearby. There is a walking/shopping/dining area just down the street which has great selection for you to enjoy.

The staff were very warm and friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and quiet. The food was very good. It was close to the cross country skiing and an easy walk to the venue.

Recommended
Warm welcome (and warm rooms), and plenty of very good typically Austrian food (we went half board). Close to town centre (railway station, Spa supermarket, and upmarket shops) and Gchwandtkopf ski area. Guests allowed to use swimming pool of nearby hotel.

This place was really great. Michael at the front desk was fabulous. He knew everything about the area and he spoke very good English. Evelyn the young lady who serves breakfast let me have my coffee for breakfast started. She was also really nice. The lady who worked in my room let me stay an extra half an hour while I took a shower and pack my bags. She spoke very good English also. And finally, The young lady who replaced Michael at the desk also spoken English. I don’t know why they only have a 4.1 rating on Expedia. It should be much closer to 5.0. I think I’m gonna stay another night. If you need a place to stay in Austria 🇦🇹, this place is better than most others I’ve stayed at. I’ll probably be back tomorrow. I can’t wait.

Breathtaking views.. great location.. however small room with barely enough room for our luggage. Cable car is about 400m away. Breakfast was expensive and the attached restaurant had terrible service but convenient. Close to everything so would highly recommend for the convenience and the view!

Budget hotel price but not a budget hotel
Clean comfortable centrally located with a short stroll to all amenities. Spacious room and a balcony. Food breakfast and service very good. Only minor gripe no kettle in room. Would choose this one again

Great Nordic skiing

Value for money in great location
Clean comfortable room in a great location a short walk from the centre and from the train station. staff were nice. We had one meal in the restaurant which wa tasty traditional food in a big serving. Would stay there again

TERRIBLE WET WEATHER DID NOT SPOIL OUR HOLIDAY, THE PLACE IS BEAUTIFULL,EVEN WHEN WET,IT WAS MADE MORE BEARABLE BY BEING IN A VERY NICE HOTEL, WERE THE STAFF WERE GREAT AND THE FOOD BETTER! WOULD HIGHLEY RECOMEND SEEFELD,ITS HANDY TO GET TO AND LOCAL PLACES ARE EASY TO REACH WITH GOOD BUS AND TRAIN SERVICES,LOADS OF GOOD QUALITY RESTRAUNTS AND CAFES(WHICH IS HANDY IF WEATHER IS DODGY!) WIILGO AGAIN ,AND TO THE SAME HOTEL.

Well priced, friendly hotel
Lovely little hotel in the pedestrianised centre of Seefeld. Very reasonably priced, with nice rooms and good plentiful food. Very friendly staff. Price included use of the excellent spa facilities of a linked hotel.

Lovely week spent in Austria
This hotel is close to everything you might need. Its very clean, the rooms are serviced everyday. The rooms are comfy and the shower is hot anytime you want it. The staff are friendly and speak English. The breakfast is very good.

Typical Tirolean Village
Patronising, rude and unfriendly staff. Lovely room, with balcony. Tiny bathroom - you have to be a limbo dancer to get out of the shower, no soap in the shower, the soap dispenser in the bathroom is so close to the sink that you can't comfortably place a hand under it - don't even consider trying both hands! The Tiroler valleys people are typically patronising, rude and unfriendly - go a few miles over the border into Bavaria - especially Mittenwald -and you'll find incredibly friendly, open and welcoming people.
