8.4 out of 10, Very good, (6 reviews)
"5 stars for all staff, absolutely excellent service, nothing was a problem!!! We have excepted much more from the food though, using frozen vegetable in meals, meals which should be served as hot was almost cold, instant taste in meals, etc... We had the same poor experience with food at hotel Konsel. It seems like both hotels in area are aware of being only ones with restaurants and are not bothered about quality of food...It is shame as mountain food has always been the best quality. "

What is the best area to stay in Šedivec?
The best area to stay in Šedivec is directly within the village centre, particularly near the main square and the Church of Saint Michael.

This area provides the most convenient access to local amenities and the village's main points of interest. Šedivec itself is a small, quiet village, and staying centrally means you're close to any local shops or eateries it might offer. The Church of Saint Michael is a top landmark, often a focal point for visitors. The surrounding streets are generally residential and offer a peaceful environment.

Couples looking for a tranquil getaway will appreciate the quiet surroundings and the opportunity to experience rural Czechia. The central location allows for easy, relaxed strolls through the village and quick access to any local spots for a drink or a meal.

For those planning to explore the wider Pardubice Region, staying in Šedivec's centre offers a convenient base for day trips to nearby towns and natural attractions, assuming you have a car.
When is the best time to go to Šedivec?
The best time to visit Šedivec is during the summer months, from June to August, or in the shoulder seasons of May and September, for pleasant weather and a full range of activities.

Summer offers the warmest temperatures, ideal for enjoying outdoor activities like hiking and cycling in the surrounding Orlické Mountains. The days are long, and the local attractions, such as the Šedivec Lookout Tower, are fully operational. This is a great time for families looking to explore the natural beauty of the region.

May and September provide a lovely balance of good weather and fewer visitors. The temperatures are comfortable for exploring, and the landscape is particularly scenic, with spring blossoms or autumn colours.
