"A beautiful hotel overlooking an even more beautiful lagoon. We had a large room overlooking the lagoon and there are some huge suites. The staff were all friendly and excellent. Norman was extremely helpful and happy to advise us on how to get the most from the time we had in Knysna, including an excellent restaurant recommendation."

"We liked everything! The bed was super comfortable and we are quite fussy when it come to beds. The rooms were clean and towels were changed everything. The best was the friendly staff - you were amazing! Do not miss the buffet - it's to die for. The aromas and taste was mouthwatering - we skipped the restaurants and sticked to the hotels awesome buffet. It's healthy and yummy. Don't skip the free breakfast either. These are not the quick breakfast you get at some ohter hotels, but a proper one. The wifi was handy and we had no problems with that. A Big THANK YOU to each and every person (from reception to the staff at the dining room, the chef and the friendly ladies changing our towels and sheets) for making our stay a memorable one. "

"The facility is beautiful, in a renovated historic building. Our apartment was spacious and well decorated. We enjoyed sunset overlookimg the bay in tne deck. The staff was very helpful, especially the concierge Dylan. He was so welcoming, friendly interesting and helpful. He suggested some fabulous hikes one in Wildnerness and one in Plettenburg Bay. "

"Absolutely beautiful property steps away from the beach,stunning rooms and pool,friendly staff and delicious meals,just to hear the waves crashing right outside your room is magical-would visit again in a heartbeat!!"

"We stayed in the main hotel (no lift) not the outer rooms and although they were a bit dated (think brown carpet) they were large and clean. The shower is of the "in bath" variety but they is a glass panel so luckily no shower curtain! The water pressue was reasonable but bath quite slippery, and with no grab rails not suitable for older people. The tea/coffee/milk wasn't restocked in our 3 days which was a surprise but there is a fridge so you can buy milk etc. You do need a car if you stay here as the closet shops are around 1.2km "

"Great views of the bay from our spacious one bedroom suite. Restaurant was very good also with sea views. Pool is a bit small with limited towels and loungers."
