There is a notice in the room that all kitchen items have been removed due to fire hazards, but all the other places we went to simply upgraded to improve their safety and still provide guest with the needed items. "I was extremely disappointed at check-in. The only request I had made was a ground floor room which was provided. However, I had expected breakfast and was told it was a self-catering accommodation. I asked about breakfast and was led to believe that was doubtful and being able to invite a guest not allowed!
