"My son and I stayed overnight ahead of an early morning duck hunt at Fish Point Wildlife Refuge in Unionville—just a quick 25-minute drive from the hotel. Our room featured two queen beds that were exceptionally comfortable, and everything was spotless. We especially appreciated being able to open the window and enjoy some fresh air. The staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. Although we had to leave before breakfast was served, they thoughtfully offered us a couple of granola bars for the road, which was a nice touch. The price was very reasonable for what we needed, and the overall experience was quiet and restful. If we’d had more time, I would’ve loved to take advantage of the outdoor amenities like the grill and firepit. I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially for future trips to Fish Point."

"The recent remodel is amazing, Its a small house but the interior is very spacious and Clean. Plenty of room for my big truck and boat in the driveway. The Hosts were more than accomadating. I have stayed in many rental homes, usually 3-4 a year traveling for Bass Tournaments. This was one of the nicest, well stocked houses I have been in. Definetly makes my top 5. I highly recommend this rental."

"Bad Axe Motel may not be a new modern establishment, but it's updated, very clean, comfortable beds, equipped kitchenette, in the country on a main road, & convenient location. With parking right in front of room door. I would absolutely stay again, and recommend it."

"Cute home with that beachy 5:00 somewhere kinda of vibe going on..clean..inviting..had just about everything we needed. Could have used a toaster for breakfast, but other than that we were well satisfied. Beds were comfortable and walk in shower was great. The hostess Tiffany was very helpful and always responded to all questions and inquiries. We loved the early morning and dusk time visits of the deer also. Would recommend this property and hostess anytime."
