This motel is reminiscent of the quaint older motels of the 50’s, 60’s era. Our room had a mini fridge, newer beds and bedding and was very comfortable. There was a large vanity and a closet bar with hangers also had shelf above. There was a newer dresser and floating night stand. Bathroom had tub shower combo and was older but clean. Room was carpeted which I don’t love but it was clean. The owner greeted me upon arrival and was very nice! They have actual keys for the rooms which were a little tricky. There was a nice pool, a restaurant that served breakfast and lunch and had happy hours from 4-7 with appetizers. Also, provided beach badges to get on the beach. Overall, a nice motel.

At check in the man set the tone for my stay! So pleasant. I was early & room was not ready. He gave me the badges for the beach, so I didn't miss a minute! The pool was beautiful & clean. Very happy short vaca - I'll be back!

Super dated motel but super clean, comfortable and convenient to everything. There were loud groups at pool but owners spoke to them. Didn’t spend a lot of time here because family in area. Pool is well maintained. Bar $ restaurant on site. Lots of restaurants, food options walkable. Would definitely stay here again.

Love the Windjammer!

Love this place! We come every year and have never been disappointed. The Windjammer is not the Ritz, but the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the pool is awesome and we have never ever felt unsafe! We will continue to come back every year as long as the management stays the same. This place is a great value and we love it!

This was a nice stay. Very much enjoyed our stay. The staff were absolute studs, the pool was nice and clean. It was quiet and only a block from the beach. Extremely convenient. AND you get beach passes with your room! The place needs some major updating like the kitchen in the room looking like its from the 1960s lol. Stayed in room 24, the fan in the bathroom is about to fall out of the ceiling, I would look into that before it falls on someone. I'll def return though. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves!

It is inexpensive, but bare bones. Best part- close to the beach and boardwalk. No shower cap, no shampoo, no hair dryer. Rusted mini frig in the room next to huge stain on the floor. Lobby door is locked at 9 pm in the colder months, so need to check in before then or ring a bell and wait.

The property is in a great location, near the beach and close to many restaurants and stores. Staff was courteous. It was quiet at night. The property and rooms are extremely outdated (I think everything was the same since we stayed here in 1982). There was NO toilet paper when we arrived, had to go to lobby to ask for it, arrived over an hour later! Kids enjoyed the pool. We had an efficiency room that is VERY dated, one burner on stove set off smoke alarm, limited pots and pans and dishes, almost no utensils. For what we paid, we could have stayed in a fantastic hotel in many other places. We know the costs at the beach have risen, but for what we paid (and everyone else who stays there), improvements are needed.

The property is in a great location very near popular beaches and restaurants. Most staff were courteous. It was quiet so I was able to get a good nights sleep. The property unfortunately is way outdated but has a great in ground pool that is well maintained. Our room was not cleaned well , there was black mold in the shower faucet and strands of hair in the bathroom. Also carpet smelled remnants of smoke and large amounts of dust accumulated on the floor. We had an efficiency room and the utensils had to be washed and oven was in poor condition with knob missing. The housekeeper walked in to our room unexpectedly luckily the door chain was on. Overrall much improvement is needed and the property could have great potential.

Classic Seaside motel I went to when I was a kid and now I brought my family back to it 40 years later. The place hasn’t changed a bit. Most importantly the rooms were clean. Kids loved the pool. It did have a lot of cigarette butts all around the hallways. We had to get two rooms having five kids. My wife’s room door wouldn’t open when they were inside the room so they had to climb out the window. Definitely a fire hazard. I was surprised they didn’t offer something to us for the inconvenience. The Bloody Mary and mimosas were small at the bar. And the breakfast was very overpriced for the quality of the food. Still enjoyed my stay there. It was very nostalgic and would probably still go back despite it all.

An old time motor inn, complete with a pool, bar and restaurant. The staff were friendly, the food was good and the atmosphere was family friendly.
