I got a non-smoking room and when we arrived our room smelled like cigarettes and smoke. When I told the manager the next day (short-Hispanic male with a small tattoo of a cross on his face) He said he could not accommodate us and change our room. The sheets were stained and so were the pillow cases.

Every night there was the smell of marijuana when we returned to our room? The 3rd night when we returned to our room our bath towels were missing with no towels to replace them? My husband had to go down to the office and ask for replacement towels? The knob on the bathtub water felt like it was going to fall off?

Have stayed here many times. This time was not the best. The walls in bathroom were dirty. Hair in tub and on shower walls. Toilet paper was set on toilet due to not having toilet paper holder. Check out was clearly stated at being at 11am. We were receiving calls at 1045 and even had someone knock on door at 1050am. We felt very rushed. Not sure we will return.

Traveling from the bay area to Seaside, Cali for work/leisure, The Sand Dollar Inn checked all my boxes. I was looking for an outdoor pool and a quiet area on Fremeont Street (away from traffic sounds). When I woke up in the am the next day I was well rested and content. 5 stars.

Even though the clerk provided good service but the motel condition is not really satisfied. 1- Door is so rough, I have to use force to close it. 2- Window was not able to lock, had to ask for a wood to stop door opening. 3- AC did not work all the time and when it works, it made loud noises

I stayed two nights. I did not put the Do Not Disturb sign in the door yet the maid service was not provided. I had to go to the office to request clean towels. Noisy people inside and outside room both nights after midnight. They did provide decent coffee however and the TV and hair dryer worked. Mattress not bad but pillows too big and hard. No extra blanket. Heater in room did not work properly.
