Location was excellent especially with kids, easily walkable to the harbour front where we spent all of our time. "This was the perfect little spot. There was easy access from main roads and down town Halifax. The place was clean, quiet, and the deck at the back was a great spot to sit and relax.The laundry area was a wonderful bonus."

"Great spot to relax. Lots of space, and comfortable bed and bedding. Kitchen was quite functional once I got use to how everything worked, but my only complaint was that the pots and pans had a bit of dust particles on them. Great parks nearby, and many options to walk a dog. Very quiet street with little traffic. Didn't affect us, but warning —one can hear everything in the main house above, so assume they can hear you. Would definitely stay again. Neighbourhood is wonderful "

"Not your average rental! St. Cecilia exceeded expectations in all areas. Incredible property with amazing story. Typically meeting the owners has not been a priority but definitely reach out to Brett and Lara for the history of the church, its renovation and the story behind many of the pieces adorning the property. "There were ants in the apartment that got into my clothes but it wasn’t that big a deal. The bed is comfy. Couch pulls out if you needed another bed and there is a futon too so it could technically sleep 6 people. Shower was nice and they even had shampoo. Coffee station was much appreciated and there was creamer in the fridge. "The place we stayed was a little bit away from the convenience. It was too far for walking since bus stop was distantly away. Fortunately we got rides and didn't need bus transportation. Overall the place met our satisfaction since it was in a quiet area and we only stayed for few hours for sleeping each day. "
