"The main reason I chose this hotel was the use of the outdoor swimming pool. We stayed at the hotel for a week and were not able to use the pool even once. While the pool was cleaned right in front of our eyes, the water in the pool was murky. We were afraid to catch something. I've been in many hotels in the past and almost all of them had pools, but none of them look like that. A huge disappointment. Although if pool is not your main feature then the hotel is very good. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is really a standard breakfast. Every day you could get some kind of meat patty, biscuits, gravy, potatoes, sausages and eggs. Assortment of sweets, bread, bagels, juices and coffee. Nothing fancy. I've had breakfasts at hotels before. There is nothing about this breakfast that should make the hotel proud. But overall stay was very decent. Even with an unusable pool I would recommend the stay at the hotel"
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Savannah Southside
2/10 Terrible
"Pool had frogs in it. Had to change rooms three times. First time, there were roaches in the first floor room. First second floor room had a huge ac leak. So water everywhere.Second, second floor room was alright. Apparently you can’t get towels because they don’t do laundry everyday."
"Rooms were musty and stained. Very outdated. Staff not overly nice. Lots of people hanging around rooms that do not stay there. Unsafe feeling. Wouldn't go outside alone at night. Pool closes early. Curtians were dirty. Walls were stained. Some of the people that stated there looked like they lived there and looked very sketchy. They argued loudly and walked by the rooms at all hours of the night. The beds were too small for two adults to sleep comfortably. I didnt feel safe having my child there."
"We booked a premium room! Paid extra!! We were given, less than, a basic room at the ground level! No tissue box. Lotion dispenser inside the bathroom didn't work. We told the front desk. Somebody came and said they fixed it. It still didn't dispense. Dirty carpet! My daughter didn't like that.
Saying basic, would be a complement for the morning breakfast!!
Don't recommend!"
"We got our key, went to the room and it wasn’t cleaned yet. Went back down to the desk, Alexander apologized, got us a new room and then walked us up to our room, it wasn’t cleaned either. Went went back down, Alexander got us another room and walked us back up to our new room and it was clean and nice. Alexander handles the situation like a complete pro, he should be at a luxury resort with his people skills. Just a fantastic person."
"Our stay here was excellent. Room very clean, bed really comfortable, breakfast was great. Staff was friendly and attentive. On the road for two weeks now, and this was the best breakfast we had. "
