"PROS: best blackout curtains I’ve had at any hotel. able to sleep in without worrying about the sun waking you up. location is also perfect with plenty to do around the hotel but also 30 minutes from tybee and 15 min from downtown Savannah. good breakfast options - enjoyed having eggs and sausage as protein options. Parking was plenty and liked being able to be right in front of your room. Room was clean and well stocked with full size toiletries. staff was friendly when encountered.
CONS: the A/C was turned off when we arrived in the middle of July so it took a long time to get a comfortable temperature inside. the pool was green and not cleaned for our whole stay so unable to swim. while no fault of their own you’re neighbored by a gun range and an air field so some of the noise pollution was very loud at times.
Overall I recommend this place and would definitely book again."
"I was pleasantly surprised to find this newer hotel in close proximity to Memorial Hospital. I cannot speak highly enough of the courteous and friendly staff. Everyone we encountered on our short stay was warm and welcoming.
I do not believe in all of my years traveling that I’ve ever stayed in a room with two king sized beds, but what a plus that is for those of us who have larger families. Everyone can stay together! Room was enormous and immaculate as well as the bathroom.
I wish I could remember the name of the precious lady cooking omelettes, but she made you feel so at home. She was happy, peppy, and just-a-singing while she cooked. Honestly, many folks who stay in this area of Savannah are either here for work(away from family) or here for some level of medical care. Friendly faces in a homey environment truly can make all the difference in the world when you’re facing difficult circumstances.It felt like grandma’s kitchen.
The ONLY critique I have is that there was no meat option for breakfast unless it was in an omelet and the layout of food/drinks/dishes could use a more cohesive flow.
A++ from our family!"
"The hotel was absolutely beautiful, and the staff was exceptional. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. My only disappointment was that the photos showed chairs on the balconies, but our balcony didn’t have any outdoor furniture. The hotel is in a very convenient location for sightseeing, with many attractions nearby. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again."
"Excellent place to stay while travellling to Florida. Very nice room, indoor pool and hot tub that are very well maintained. Top notch breakfast included. Right off I-95, highly recommended!!"
"I would have like to have given 5 stars for this hotel but I could not. The front desk attendants were nice but for some reason my key was only programmed for one day, making it a bit inconvenient the 2nd day when I wanted to get in my room. The pullout bed in the couch is only a twin size so my poor teen daughter, who is smaller than her younger teen brother, had to try to sleep on the couch part with the ottoman that kept moving away. It was not called out as a twin in the listing, otherwise I would have booked a double room. By the time we figured it out, it was too late to request a different room. There was also no bedding for the pullout and the attendant could only give me one pillow for it, kind of sucks with 2 kids. The room also appeared as though there was a door separating the living room from the bedroom, alas there was not.
The bed was comfortable. I loved the blackout blind. The area was easy to get to the interstate. The morning buffet was not the greatest but at least they tried and we got there toward the end, so probably more our problem. Overall a good place to stay for a night or two."
