You will love everything about this vacation cottage nestled amongst the natural beauty of Seabrook Island with views of the 7th fairway of Ocean Winds Golf Course! A welcoming low country front porch invites you to come in, relax in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy every minute of your beach vacation. The location is perfect for taking full advantage of all the available amenities that make Seabrook so ideal.
You'll be greeted by an open floor plan perfect for gathering friends and family. The kitchen is well equipped with granite counter tops & stainless appliances. Just off the kitchen is the dining area with table seating for 6. Adjacent to the dining area is the family room with vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan. Comfortable seating is arranged to take advantage of the 65" Smart TV. Just beyond the family room is the 4 season sun room with spectacular golf course views. This wonderful room is air conditioned and filled with natural light. Enjoy a snack at the glass top table with seating for 4 or just relaxing in the conversation seating area.
The master bedroom on the main level has a king bed, 60" smart tv, with en suite bath equipped with single vanity, walk in shower and hair dryer. On the opposite side of the cottage are the two guest bedrooms - each with a queen bed with a full hall access bath between them. This bath has a walk in shower. A stacked washer/dryer is also available for your convenience.
Upstairs is the loft bedroom with 2 twin beds. Please note that this bedroom is open to the family room area below. Ring Doorbell at unit.
*Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes. Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge. LSV (Low Speed Vehicle) RENTALS PERMITTED at this property. An LSV requires the use of one of the gate passes included in the maximum number of vehicles passes. What a great property! We loved our time at the house with its cute, renovated beachy decor. The house was about a 5 minute bike ride to the beach club and about a 10 minute drive to the shopping center for restaurants and shopping. We had a great time and would definitely return!
We stayed here for an after Christmas new years trip. We had the best time. The property is great! The kitchen had everything we needed! Plenty of room for all of us and we loved the location.
It was our 3rd time at Seabrook Island, first time in this property. House was clean, good layout but the pictures made it look bigger, especially the bathrooms. Kitchen had everything a family needs, except an ice maker. Overall it was a good stay.
This was our second stay in this property. Overall the house is nice and comfortable and conveniently located on the island. The house is equipped with bicycles and a few other beach necessities that were appreciated during the week. The recent bathroom remodel was well received. The only complaint our crew had during the week, was the chairs on the front porch were uncomfortable the washing machine is loud. Very few towels in the property, so laundry is a must. Hope to be back a few times next year.
This was a great set up for our family of 6 adults vacationing together. Plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was ample for cooking our meals—the grill was great—close to the beach (easy bike ride!) and we were close to my sister’s family We especially loved the bright and airy sunroom.
We always enjoy out stays on Seabrook and this was no exception. Tarpon Cottage is the perfect location and one could tell a lot of love was in the new purchase to make renters feel right at home.

The owners have made some updates and the house is comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was clean and well decorated. The biggest disappointment was no ice maker. It is ideal for two couples or a family with younger kids. We had 6 adults and found it difficult to maneuver the small kitchen and bathrooms..

Seabrook Island
We were looking to stay near Charleston. We chose Seabrook not realizing it was more of a retirement/golfing community. There wasn’t much to do as far as entertainment. The restaurants on the island were pricey & the food was just ok. We enjoyed the beach & pool areas & enjoying driving to Folly beach & Charleston.
Our family has vacationed at Seabrook Island every Spring Break since my daughter was born… she is 18 now. This house on the island is on par with other Tarpon Pond cottages. We enjoy staying in a house with a sunroom since it’s still cool often . This house had a lovely one on the gulf course. We enjoyed the bikes provided by the owners and rented two from Seaside Cycles (saving the cost of one from the deal from the property manager). We loved Captain Brad from Sonny Boys Charters. He was friendly and helpful with fishing the waterway. We never leave Seabrook ever wanting to go. We will be back to enjoy the white beaches, knarly oak trees and …oh… the delightful aromas of Seabrook’s natural environment!

Disappointed but management responded
I was surprised and disappointed in the lack of cleanliness of the property. Trash, used towels, food remnants in multiple places, dirty dishes, previous guests belongings left behind, and more. Master bathroom (not pictured) is 1970s. We had to do a lot of cleaning. I was pretty surprised.
The first time I called the management, they didn’t offer much help, but as the list grew and I contacted them again, they were much more responsive.
The property smelled of mold and I’m still trying to get the stink out of our clothes after several days, washing, and multiple days with an air purifier.
On the plus side, the beds were very comfortable, it’s bright and sunny inside, spacious, and a good location.

Lots to love, room for improvement
We stayed here with our 4 children ages 1-10 for a week.Positives:- location is great- great privacy - amenity cards included is a necessary perk- nice furniture, especially in sunroom- newly remodeled bathrooms - 2 bikes are a nice bonus Areas for improvement:- overall cleanliness, I never complain about this but feel the need to given I hand picked hairs out of the shower and had to remove the bedskirt on the master bed because it had blood on it- pest control- we had multiple cockroaches in the house and also multiple hornet nests on the porch. My husband and baby daughter were stung within 1 minute of sitting on the front porch. It was a hazard - general communication with property management- we attempted to kindly write about our concerns without any response from management. We then called the phone numbers provided and were shuffled from one voicemail to the next until we finally spoke to a live person who was lovely (Lisa) but it was frustrating to have to spend 30 min to escalate our case to someone. We also received zero follow up from the managers after we shared our concerns- the dishwasher was broken when we arrived . When we escalated the issue someone came and fixed it but it was shocking no one caught this before us, there wasn’t a thorough review/ cleaning before we came - there is a large gap in the back deck our young kids could easily fall through. We locked the back door and shared the concern with no response. Wouldn’t recommend for kids
