Quiet Country House

Absolutely amazing house!!!! Very quiet in rural Lafayette, Louisiana. Far enough to be in the country yet close enough to the city for any event imaginable. The place is very clean and sleeping there was very comfortable. There is a kitchen with a microwave and pot and pans for DIY cooking. There are chairs outside along with a firepit. Charming

Booked this lovely cottage for my kiddos and I while we visited family. We absolutely loved it here. Was such a wonderful place to escape from all the hustle and bustle. we had such an amazing time playing hide and seek with my sisters and their family and enjoyed sitting around the fire and just enjoying the time with family. This place will remind you of what it truly means to be present in the moment.

Beautiful country setting

Absolutely loved our stay. It was the perfect space for our weekend getaway. We were attending the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival and the distance was very doable. Everything was clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen provided everything we needed, and the rocking chairs on the front porch were amazing. It was great to spend time away from the hustle bustle of the city yet so close to the city. The private driveway was a plus, allowing us to come and go as we pleased. Our host was respectful of our privacy but always available when needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at your VRBO listing. We wanted a quiet get away not far from BR and this one met all of our needs. We had issues with the grill and the next day we had propane and a brush to clean it with got to meet the owner and his fur baby who made my day. Outstanding

This is everything it is advertised to be and much more. 6 members of our boxing team stayed here for a week for a boxing tournament and i can't say enough. From the breath taking views to the absolutely awesome owner Judy, this guest home has every amenity you need and the Plantation is so pleasant to take a anytime stroll. We will definitely return next yr. Thank you to the owners for all their hospitality.

It was very nice and super quiet. We had no interaction with our host, so its hard to give review on that. If you want to get away and be alone this is the perfect place. The cabin was was fully stocked with everything you could need. Very easy check in. Door was open and key was inside. Only thing is we had hoped for more scenic view. The pond is nowhere near the house. A little disappointed with that, but overall it was a relaxing weekend. Beds are upstairs so if you have problems with stairs, you may want to consider sleeping on the daybeds downstairs or another w fu

The beautiful country cajun.
